Steamboat seems the best option when we are not feeling that hungry and it is already late so it is not healthy to eat too much at night. Hence, we went to Ho Kee, which is my first time there. We ordered a one person steamboat set which came with a set of fishballs, the Yong Tau Foo ingredients, tofu and vegetables.
We also added the fish maw at RM 13. The fish maw seems fake but then again, not much you could expect for RM 13.
I wanted to order mushrooms but they were too expensive so I ordered scallops instead which cost RM 10.
We only had normal soup and there was no tom yam flavour available.
The steamboat is just average for me but I still prefer shabu-shabu or the steamboat buffets.
The cost was almost RM 50 including tea. Quite expensive.
