My partner has been raving about this fried nian kao and how he used to buy from the uncle ever since he was young. Apart from nian kao, the uncle also sells fried bananas and sweet potatoes. Everything from cutting to frying is done by the uncle himself and they are usually snapped up quickly by the other patrons. The nian kao is has three layers consisting of sweet potato, nian kao and yam. The nian kao is sticky and sweet while the yam gives it a starchy aftertaste. I like how the ingredients
