The Char Kway Teow is a must have when coming here to eat as their Char Kway Teow is very delicious and very reasonable in terms of price. Even the portion size is 👌🏻👍🏻 for the price of the meal. Highly recommend their Char Kway Teow as it’s worth it.

Pork Ribs. After trying out the pan mee in the mornng at this stall, we ventured into this restaurant at night to try out the dai chao again. We placed an order the the pork ribs and it came as a surprise for us again because of the size of the pork ribs. It was dark in color and the coating was sticky. It has just nice of saltiness and meat was tender too. It was just the bone that made it hard to eat.

2 style kailan. When the 2 style kailan was served, it surprised all of us as one part of it did not look like the conventional 2 style kailan which was just the stalks only. Instead of the stalks, it was boiled kailan with stalks and vegetables. This part was not thick and crunchy, typical boiled vegetables. The other deep fried kailan bits were crispy and not too oily.

"Jiong Jing" Tilapia (Tilapia steamed in special sauce). Wan Shoon's version of the sauce flooded the whole tilapia. The special sauce was slightly spicy and quite thick, it was not too salty. I like the fact that they put pork lard among the sauce, which I love. The fish was soft and the muddy smell was masked by the strong flavour of sauce. It was not a bad dish actually.

Wantan mee. The wantan mee came with lettuce, char siew and a bowl of wantan in soup. The wantan noodle were thick one and the soy sauce was not too salty, slightly watery though. The lettuce was freshly boiled. The char siew was a bit hard, does not have melt in the mouth type of texture. The wantan were nicely wrapped, not too small. It was slightly salty and the fillings were not bad.

Pan Mee Soup. We came to this stall to try the pan mee soup since my mother strongly recommended it. In fact, this stall is the most famous stall among other stalls, almost every table will order one bowl of pan mee soup. The pan mee was not too thick and not floury. It has ingredients such ash minced pork, anchovies and vegetables. The soup was very flavourful with the stocks.

Pan Mee Dry. The pan mee dry came with minced pork, Chinese black mushrooms, vegetables and spring onions. Overall, it was a fine dry version of pan mee. However, I think the black sauce was slightly watery and too much. Nevertheless, the ingredients such as minced pork and mushrooms were good and the portion was a lot too. It was not too salty, just nice. The pan mee was thick.
