We were late for a movie! Well, because my friends would like to watch 'The Boy' some horror/scary movie and i am not a big fan of those type of movies, so i purposely drive slowly that day. When we reached there its about 30 minutes before the movie. But! we were all starving. So we went for a quick lunch at Mr. Teppanyaki. This has always been my fav shop since i was in high school. Luckily they serve quite fast for their teriyaki set. Some of us choose to order beef and some ordered chicken.

Mr. Teppanyaki is located in Sunway Pyramid shopping centre which is nearby the ice skating area. We have our dinner here this evening and we have ordered our beloved chicken teppanyaki rice set. It served with bean sprout, white rice and chicken too!The chicken is yummy in taste, if they have some special sauce to pour it on top that would be even better in taste as it is a bit dry in eating. Still can be improved! Here iss open air environment, when people walked passed by can see what you eat

So gyoza are actually dumplings from China, but done in Japanese style. unlike typical dumplings, the gyoza wrappers/skin are slightly thicker. here in mr teppanyaki, the gyoza are fried to produce a pan-crisp texture of the skin. Inside, there were vegetables and minced meat filling, although i find the filling to be quite hollow and the skin to be very moist instead of crispy.

Chicken teppanyaki is probably the most basic dish you can ask for from a teppayaki restaurant. I ordered this because it was the cheapest set meal to be honest.. the chicken meat wasn't that bad, but it was pretty normal diced chickens. Nothing too special.the chicken meat only tasted so much better when it was dipped in that garlic soy sauce, which was probably the kickstarter of the dish. without the soy sauce which was salty and sweet at the same time, the chicken teppanyaki would have been

Bf ordered this for himself! again, I felt like the beef meat here seemed overcooked. the meat wasn't really tender either.. it had this weird chewy texture that wasn't supposed to be when you're having good beef meat. Other than that.. the vegetables given here was quite little. I'm not sure about others, but that amount is really insufficient for me and the bf haha. I used to have more when I ate at Mr Teppanyaki years ago.

Went to Mr Teppanyaki at sunway pyramid one night for dinner, and the restaurant was actually very crowded. Mr Teppanyaki is located at Lower Ground of Sunway Pyramid, near by the ice skating ring. They are using red colour as their environment design concept, Their signature dish of course is all the teppanyaki dishes. but this time, I have ordered Tempura Bento Set. This comes with tempura shrimp, salad, appetizer, rice, a slice of watermelon and miso soup. The tempura shrimp is thinly coated with flour then deep fried till golden brown. 经过朋友的极力推荐，我来了这间mr teppanyaki.点了最普通的chicken teppanyaki,心想说要是一间餐馆连最普通的菜也做不好，我就不会再来。结果，我真的很失望！上桌的时候，看着他们给的塑料spoon，心里已经不快乐。再吃了那几乎没味道的菜，我告诉自己我不会再光顾这餐厅！

以为这个日本豆腐汤味道不错，可是当品尝的时候感觉普普通通没有什么的新鲜感，味精味很重而且为什么这个汤是用塑料碗，难到没了别的来装吗。里面还有那小小片的豆腐干和青葱作为配搭。

这里的chicken teppanyaki rice set的鸡肉还算不错，吃起来除了可以吃到那鸡肉本身的香滑度之外配料上还有一些炸蒜头，这个有配上一个饭还有一堆的芽菜，所以吃完过后感觉很实在的感觉。

One thing I love anout teppanyaki dishes is that the simple cooking method can be very satisfying. However, if too oily the dish can be a disaster.The chicken thigh meat is cut into small bite sized cubes then fried with butter and salt. Not complex at all yet taste naturally good, thanks to the fresh chicken meat. Some fried vegetables consisting cabbage, carrot, bean sprouts and long green onions were nicely seasoned with salt and blackpepper. Naturally sweet, crunchy and refreshing.

I love Japanese style garlic fried rice, considering its simple ingredient contained inside yet makes simple satisfaction. The garlic fried rice here is pretty decent. Each morsel of rice is fluffy and well seperated, while contained fair amount of wok hei. It is topped with fried garlic slices but I did not care much about it, as I do not want a heavy garlic breath

This came with fried chicken cutlet, salad, appetizer, rice, a slice of watermelon and miso soup. The chicken cutlet is thinly coated with flour then deep fried till golden brown. It came with crispy texture and quite moisturized inside. The thousand island on top of the finely shredded cabbage taste cold and refreshing. Miso soup tasted decent, at least it is not too salty. Overall it was a decent meal.

Lunch alone when lunch hour. choose this because this restaurant got set and i also love to eat teppanyaki very much.but too sad their service is not really good . and the food is just normal for me. the portion is big. but not much surprise bout the food. and the enviroment is ok only. the price is reasonable . maybe next time will try other favor instead of choose this chicken set.

I rarely see places that sells fish teppanyaki..Maybe I didn't visit anywhere else other than Teppanyaki..heheThe fish was, I felt it was slightly too thinly sliced.It would be much better if it's thicker, so that I get to taste the 'flavorful' salmon... Overall it was a good set meal because it comes with lots, and lots of bean sprouts and rice and a cup of tea! Very economic meal indeed!
