The rice balls are small but tasty! However, the dishes and rice are slightly cold. Otherwise, it’s nice!

來到馬六甲，有好幾家餐廳頗受遊客注目，「古城雞粒飯」是其中之一。一踏進餐廳，果然有一種好「古城」的感，不單裝潢上，其仔配套如是，還有一張龍椅呢！我們是朝着其雞粒飯而來，所以，雞粒飯是必吃的。甘榜雞可選全隻、半隻或1/4隻，我們要了1/4隻，雞肉非常滑溜，很有雞味；雞粒飯、芋頭粒飯，前者粒飯較綿爛，極像米粿，後者則好香芋頭味；豆腐湯內有紫菜，少少鹽酸菜，而豆腐很滑；泰國香椰，既有椰汁飲用，又有椰肉可吃，真是好的。古城雞粒飯除吃以外，也是一個小型博物館。

态度很差明明是我们先来排队，有个女的插队，点菜员居然说没有看到下次去都不要去这间古城鸡饭粒吃。叫一碟饭都要等很久，之少五分钟以上，还要一个传一个才会来，等传到第三个人，才拿来，过后第一个人又拿来，我说到了，她还说，不会讲啊，有够气的。。

There are quite a few chicken rice balls restaurants in Jonker Street. All professing to be the best & most authentic. At the end of the day they are all quite similar. This is one of the better options due to the quick turnaround, English menu & not so long queue. Service is quick as majority of the items are pre prepared.Go for the roasted chicken which has crispy skin & a rich flavour. The siew yoke & char siew is just average. A little bit expensive Chicken rice ball shop. The surrounding is good and the price looks "Good" too. The Chicken rice ball is getting smaller now, you have to eat a lot in order to get full. But it chicken is quite good. The cendol there is not really good because the malacca sugar is just too much.

And like I’ve mentioned in previous post (Eat and Drink Melaka 4: Authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice Ball ) most shops sell more than just chicken and chicken rice for they would have the need to cater to tourist and the locals. Some probably dislike the mushy texture but having said that, not all restaurants that is selling chicken rice balls in Melaka would have those textures. My preference is abit more to those rice balls that are less mushy, but yet not too hard so there shouldn’t be any extra effort when swallowing the rice. At the same time, I think the rice must still have the grain texture while immensely infused with aroma and fragrant of all the herbs, spices and chicken stock.Apart from the usual Steamed Tau

很多人都不喜欢吃鸡杂，我自己也不抗拒，但是这里的还真是不错，这个猪杂完全没有奇怪的味道，都很下饭，这里的环境很好，都古色古香的，可是人太多了，完全融入不到这里优美的环境

来到这里吃鸡粒饭当然少不了的就是点上这里的鸡肉。不过鸡肉并没有我所想的滑嫩，不是说不滑嫩，而是我吃过更滑嫩的。份量很多，价钱更是很便宜，我们叫了很多东西也才不过五十块

本身对鸡粒饭没有什么兴趣。因为我还是喜欢干爽的米粒。米粒饭可以压成那么紧实的原因是因为够湿润的米饭才能是米粒很扎实的变成圆形。鸡粒饭里面应该加了鸡汁一起煮。

马六甲闻名的古城鸡饭粒无人不晓。 从小我就特别对鸡饭粒爱不释手。来到马六甲，古城鸡饭粒是必吃的美食。一粒粒的鸡饭团，很结实。鸡饭粒的形状较小，而且很容易入口。而且鸡肉有麻油味，很开胃。

The only food that we can enjoy a little bit more is the fish balls. The fish balls were really nice and fresh. The fish balls were bouncy and i can taste the sweetness of the minced fish paste. The soup was just normal. I think we were so disappointed with other dishes, the fish balls although were good, can't make us feel better. The size of the fish balls were also quite big.

Having high expectations, both of us actually ordered half a chicken, as you can see the portion is so big. We regret not because it was so big, we regret for it was really not nice at all!!! The chicken looked so oily, it doesn't have sweetness of the chicken and the meat were tough. My god, how bad could this be? The chicken was so bland, we didn't finish it and felt disappointed.
