Charms (Moved) New Location

Lamb Chop was served with fries and black pepper sauce. The slices of lamb chops were stacked together and were poured with mint sauce. I love the taste of the mint sauce and the fresh aroma covered all the pieces of the lamb nicely. The lamb chops were cooked till perfection, but it was not tough, and not too salty. The thinly cut fries were normal, while the salad was slightly sweet. I found the black pepper sauce not thick and peppery spicy enough but it doesn’t matter because the mint did it

Rojak Sotong Kangkung was covered with the rojak sauce along with two slices of crackers. The sotong was boiled till softness, not overly chewy and it was tasteless by itself. The kangkung amount was a lot and too soft, a little bit of crunchiness in it. The rojak sauce was slightly diluted, not overly salty. It was quite aromatic of prawn paste too. The peanuts and crackers added some crispiness to the whole mouthful.

The Red Bean Dessert was a complimentary one when I ordered a main dish that particular day. I am not a fan of red bean dessert but I would not mind having one. Once I took a spoonful of it, I got shocked because it was extremely sweet! The whole texture of the dessert was fine, with lots of red beans in it. It was not too thick and not too diluted. However, I could not bring myself to finish it because the sugar level was too high.
