My dinner consisting of a Hong Kong style fried Kuey Teow, a Salted vegetable and tofu soup, and this amazing Roasted pork. And this one was delivered to me cause I was extra lazy that day. LOL.Now what can I say about these dishes. Palatable is probably the best description. Having these street foods done commercially, I would say it would be a convenient place to go if looking for Cantonese food under one roof. Plus the dining ambience and services as well as everything else that comes at ease. Most of the time, these food are easily located from the street and hawker centre at a more affordable price. I mean, the Char Kuey Teow prices at RM 16. That’s 4 plates on average by the street? But Canton Fare did fairly deliver a good plate of Char Kuey Teow. And a gentle reminder to those with any form of kidney problem, stay away from the soup as they are really salty. continue reading

Canton Fare named itself with a bold statement of a tagline “the King of Roast”. The restaurant is located alongside with the Japanese, Western and more around the area. Braised Tofu with Vegetables and Roast Pork in Claypot (丝瓜豆腐火腩煲) is where the soft taufu is being braised together with the roasted pork and it is topped with the variety of vegetable choices on to it. The flavors is good as well where the pork had create the crispy taste and overall it brings a delighting flavors with it as well.Price: RM 25.00 continue reading

Located around the heart of Mont Kiara, Canton Fare serve non halal Hong Kong cuisine for people who wish to eat Authentic Hong Kong style cuisine. Pi Feng Tang PrawnThe praws are being well battered and it is then being deep fried with garlic and spices with it. The taste is sweet and spicy which open my wish to have more. One bonus for this dish is the prawn are serve fresh, nothing beats when the prawn are fresh, everything in it will be more delicious. Though somehow this dish is quite expensive continue reading

I love the very cosy ambiance in this outlet at Mont Kiara, although the parking spaces are difficult to find at times. Si Yau Wong Fried Noodles (鼓油皇炒面) @ RM16 Chinese always prefer rice or noodle to accompany the main dishes, so here we go with this stir-fried noodles with seafood. Soy sauce can be way too salty, but not in Canton Fare. The springy noodles retain the crunchiness despite of being ssoaked into the sauce for a good 20 minutes! continue reading
