1. Softsrve @ Damansara Uptown

Softsrve, a new place for ice cream lovers to chill at! They just begin their business recently and get everyone’s attention as their ice creams will release some ‘fog’ out from the cup! What is their sorcery you asked? The answer to it would be that actually there’s dry ice beneath the cup! The use of that dry ice is actually to keep that soft serve ice cream to last slightly longer and to keep everything in a lower temperature! They have 2 mouthwatering flavors of Cereal Milk and Deep chocolate, which can be served with toppings like macaroons, cotton candy, chips, popcorns and honeycomb! Another great invention on ice creams that can make their fans go gaga over it!

2. Minamotonoya Café @ Sri Petaling

This café at Sri Petaling had gained its popularity through the internet recently. Having one of the cutest dessert there – Water mochi, it is round in shape and transparent and tastes like pudding. Eaten with natural soya bean powder and it tastes delectably sweet too. Besides dessert, the chef here uses natural ingredients to cook for their patrons! Some best-selling items here include Bacon Egg Sandwich, Wafu Shimeji Mushroom Aglio Olio, and Fried Cheese Pork Chop Spaghetti.

3. Crispy Crust @ Bandar Sunway

We know Sunway area has quite a number of students, schools, colleges and university. That’s why there are quite some numbers of restaurants and cafes here. Among all, this might be the one that worth capturing your attention. After going through the moments of getting all the ingredients right, the boss had finally made it and there comes Crispy Crust! The way to order your meals here are quite interesting, you start to select your main dish (fried chicken, grilled chicken, fried fish or grilled salmon fish, then choose what would you like to pair it up with like Rice, noodles, fries, bread and salad! A variety of choices to choose from, what say you?

4. Coco Ichibanya @ 1 Utama

Finally, one of the most famous Japanese curry specialty shop is finally here at Klang Valley! Opened at 1 Utama recently, this restaurant had a near 30 years of history. Having 1,245 branches at Japan and more than 100 branches across Asia; they are the most know for serving the best Japanese curry! Extensive menu with wide selection of dishes, you can pair your Japanese curry with Pork, Beef, Chicken, Squid, Fish and more! The signature here would be their Curry Pork Katsu! Juicy and tender piece of pork to pair with the best Japanese curry gravy and rice! The perfect place for a plate of good awesome food!

5. After Black @ Bandar Sunway

Located not far away from Crispy Crust, this place too is one of the most talked about! Designed and awesomely decorated, they are painted in black color too! Attracts most of the students nearby to visit them frequently; their menu is quite special too. Looking at the cup of Rose Latte, not just it is smooth but it is fragrantly good with Rose aroma in it! Besides, they are famous for their Cheese baked Black Rice! The rice is black colored as they are cooked with squid ink and it tastes incredibly good!

6. Monsters Ice Cream @ Sunway Pyramid

We’re not kidding you! It’s the latest ‘IN’ thing to try this round – Fried ice cream! But of course, it is frying under the coldest temperature and this technology is specially imported from Thailand! By ‘frying’ it under a flat plate, you get to choose the flavors and when frying, they will add in the ingredients chosen like banana, strawberry, longan, raisins or oreos to enhance the flavors! As for now, they have 5 flavors for ice cream to choose from Thai Tea flavor, Green tea, Chocolate, Mocha or Vanilla flavor. Once it is done fried, it will be scraped up in a roll and served it to you! How cool is that?

7. BxieBlonde @ Publika

Using Container as their café concept here in Publika, it is very eye-catching and located just in front of Ben’s; you’ll notice it when you walk past there! Having two levels in this container café, you will notice there is an artistic statue up there that resembles someone kneeling down to propose. Although their menu is quite limited for now, but the environment and feeling is just as good as their concept too!

8. Mrs.Lovett’s @ 1 Mont Kiara

Gone through a repackaging in 1 Mont Kiara mall, they are now opened with more eateries here. While our main focus would be Mrs.Lovett’s – a specialty café that bakes pies, tarts and soup! There are savory and sweet pies selling here too. Their savory pies ingredients includes baked beans, beef bacons, beef rendang, sambal shrimp and mushroom chicken; while the sweet ones includes apple pie, hazelnut chocolate pie and peach pie.
