Since milk tea has been growing its popularity in Malaysia, Funs House also incorporated milk tea drink in its beverages menu. This one here is the honey dew flavor milk tea with coffee taste jelly added. The milk tea was no where comparable to Chatime, but overall, still acceptable. I don’t quite like the coffee taste jelly; I think it doesn’t go well with honey dew taste. The drink was sweet and iced cold, a good thirst quencher drink.

My colleague ordered a stir fry lamb in spring onion for lunch. The dish comes together with a portion of white rice. The lamb cutlets were surprisingly tender and juicy, really thumbs up for that. The lamb cutlets were stir fry in some soy sauce with other seasoning and the spring onions matched well with the lamb cutlets. The dish overall was quite appetizing and reasonably priced.

At Funs House, I spotted ginko beancurd skin dessert from their menu. The dessert was served hot and although I would like the portion to be bigger than this. However, the taste of the dessert made my day. Although it’s a simple Chinese dessert, the sweetness was appropriate and there were lots of ginko, barley, and beancurd skin in the dessert. It would be nice if some bits of eggs were added to it, then it will be perfect.

Although Fun House promotes itself as the “Rice Place”, actually, I think their noodle outshines the rice. The braised chicken and mushroom with noodle is absolutely delicious. The chicken was braised in a sauce that is similar with oyster sauce, and the straw mushrooms were soft and tender. However, like I said, the best part is still the noodle. The dry style noodle was slightly moist, and the texture of the noodle is highly commendable. When I tasted the noodle, I do not taste any artificial

The Set dinner is worthy, only need to add on a little money then you will get soup and drink...there is a lot of variety even just for a single set meal, you can choose among rice or noodles, and the style you like..I ordered beef noodles..the taste is great!! I will definitely go back again to try the other dishes..would like to try the Taiwan fried egg rice next time..
