I'm all for no-carbs days, but I may have made a mistake ordering this dish without rice.It had lots of vegetables, cooked to softness, but was a little too sweet (because there was no rice to absorb the sweetness?). Chicken pieces were tender, but cashew nuts were a little soggy.

This is the Thai version of char kuay tiao (though I don't think they copied the idea from Malaysians in any way).I found it overly sweet and not salty at all, and slightly tart. I didn't like the raw bean sprouts, and there was not enough shrimp.

I always thought that food at Absolute Thai is very expensive but today I found out it is actually not that expensive. We ordered clear Tom Yam Seafood soup which we finished every single drop of it! The soup, though for 4 pax, came in a very small portion, I guess that is normal with this restaurant. Another typical Thai dish ordered was Mango salad. It tasted normal, something like what my mother makes, probably because my mum can make Nyonya food. It was not sour, just that it had a lot of sm

The restaurant is nicely decorated with black color based and a lot of photo frame on the wall, the restaurant size is not big but is very warm with the hospitality show by the staff. The minced chicken is nicely cooked and it is spicy, the sauce that come with it is delicious and is good to ate it together with the fragrant rice, there is one fried egg that serve together, the portion is big and filling.

This is a nice Thai style restaurant, the renovation in the restaurant are well decorated, they use black color as the based. The staff here are very friendly too, they are polite and keep their smile on the face. The pineapple fried rice is fried with a lot ingredient inside, beside prawn and squid, also some cashew nut on top of the rice. It is yummy and portion is ok for a person.

这道家乡味干炒虾仁芦笋，非常贴近华人的风格，味道也不分上下，而且一尝之下，还隐隐约约尝到家乡妈妈的味道。厨师采用了新鲜爽脆的芦笋，再加入新鲜弹牙的虾仁，绝对绝配，味道轻轻地，另有一番风味。

吃泰国餐的时候，哪里可以少了东炎呢。这里的东炎汤非常够味，酸辣适中，味道也非常开胃。厨师用的配料非常丰富，而且加入了浓浓的椰浆香，所以立即提升东炎鲜味了，拿来陪饭非常适合。

这里这道炒碎鸡肉，简直色香味具全，这里的厨师加入了辣椒仔，九层塔叶一起大火炒，味道虽然有点咸咸辣辣，鸡肉也保留了原有的肉汁，但可是拿来捞饭吃就味道刚刚好，而且也非常惹味呢。

To try every little thing at Absolute Thai, we proceed to order Absolute Thai Combo Platter which contains 4 pieces each of golden royal money bags, thai fish cakes, crispy spring rolls and prawns wrapped with wanton skin together with mango salad. The mango salad is pretty disappointed because although it is very spicy, it is lack of some ingredient which makes it very thai salad. The rest is ok and there's nothing to shout about.

When we arrived at Absolute Thai, we are absolutely hungry and just to fill our stomach with something first, I ordered one glass of orange juice. Instead of expecting a swift service from the staff at Absolute Thai, it took more than 15 minutes to arrived. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, which is very refreshing. The menu was very easy to browse through too. Which some top ten dishes to choose from.

My friend always never fail to order Phad Thai every time he step into Thai restaurant. This time is the same, he ordered the Stir Fried Rice Noodle with Prawn ( a.k.a Phad Thai) as the main course of the night. The Phad Thai arrived with some coconut, dried chili, bean sprout, lime and omelette on top. What you do is mix all the ingredient before eating. I have a bite and sadly the noodle was a little too wet. The taste is good though.

As I am very hungry at that time, I ordered a rice dishes which is Stir Fried Minced Chicken with Hot Basil Leaves. This dishes also took around 20 minutes to arrive although the restaurant wasn't fully packed. This dishes comes with hot thai fragrance rice and one sunny side up (which is my favorite)! Absolute Thai located inside One Utama Shopping Centre is one of the newly opened restaurant inside the shopping mall. As we are already very thirsty, we proceed to order a glass of Thai Ice Tea. The staff doesn't speak English very much (no, they are not Thai) and it took almost 20 minutes for our drink to arrive which upset us a little. But the ice tea was very nice indeed! It's not too sweet and it's very aromatic. Nice!
