I always thought that food at Absolute Thai is very expensive but today I found out it is actually not that expensive. We ordered clear Tom Yam Seafood soup which we finished every single drop of it! I always thought that food at Absolute Thai is very expensive but today I found out it is actually not that expensive. We ordered clear Tom Yam Seafood soup which we finished every single drop of it! The soup, though for 4 pax, came in a very small portion, I guess that is normal with this restaurant.

Another typical Thai dish ordered was Mango salad. It tasted normal, something like what my mother makes, probably because my mum can make Nyonya food. It was not sour, just that it had a lot of small cili padi.

There was a stir fried broccoli with mushrooms and carrots, because one of my friends could not eat too much spicy food. The broccolis were nicely cut in small sizes.

The green curry chicken was a steal. it was very green and thick. I sometimes wonder how they make the curry so green. It was also quite spicy hence very suitable for my taste. I loved it so much that I even added rice. The chicken was very tender too.

We decided to order additional pandan chicken as 4 dishes seemed too little. The pandan chicken was just alright, according to a male friend whereas me and the girls thought it was tasty and not too over barbequed and even tender and succulent.

The Lemongrass Drink that was considered the bestseller actually was just water with lime and also serai! And it cost RM 9.90 per cup! I preferred the one sold at Elephant Thai restaurant.

The waiter mixed up and charged us for 5 bowls of rice instead of 4 bowls so I went to claim back the money from him and luckily he returned me RM 3.
