Waiting time aside.. since it's packed with most high schoolers, i am frequently amazed and yet disappointed at how many people rate this place.Personally i have nothing against the establishment, as they found a niche that they can build a long term business on. It is an old name that has survived and thrived. I just wonder how was the food back then?All i can say is how the food is at the present. It's not good. It's not exactly cheap either. Usually when I have any western food, a bowl of mushroom soup is a must companion. So, I ordered myself a bowl of fresh mushroom soup which costs RM 3 for one, The mushroom soup is very thick and yet aromatic. I was rather disappointed with the grill chicken with black pepper sauce because the portion of the chicken is rather on the small side. However, the black pepper sauce is indeed very good as the sauce is pretty thick and not watery at all. Overall, a very great dish if the grill chicken serve is a little bigger size and the black pepper sauce given is a little more as well. The chicken cordon blue in James Food Western Food at Fettes Park is obviously one of the best cordon blue I ever had. I will definitely give rating 5/5 for this dish. The dish consists of a large piece of chicken maryland, a fried banana, a hot dog, one slice of ham, french fries and salad vege. For just RM 9.50 for this dish, it totally worth every price that I pay.
