Another Malay-craving day, and this time, for bawal masak kicap. Where else would one venture to, but a place that has "bawal" in the name? Haha.Nasi goreng kampung was up to standard - lots of anchovies and kangkung - salty and mildly spicy. I didn't care for the keropok and cucumber slice on the side, though.Bawal masak kicap lives up to the standard, but nothing over the top. Salty kicap, sweet, loads of vegetables, fresh fish. Really can't complain, except maybe the price for the fish is too

Bawal masak kicap lives up to the standard, but nothing over the top. Salty kicap, sweet, loads of vegetables, fresh fish. Really can't complain, except maybe the price for the fish is too high for its size - I can get better value at better restaurants.
