One of my favourite chee cheong fun / yong tau foo stall in PJ. Well not best but most frequent as they open until late. Good selection of yong tau foo which are fresh & tasty. The special chee cheong fun is also good. Think Teluk Intan style where its stuffed with dried shrimp, preserved turnip & fried shallots. Top all of it with their yummy sauce and you are good to go!

If you want a cheap western meal head over to Yazid. Better of the 2 at Uptown Hawker Centre. The other being Lanun which is louder & tend to get more customers however Yazid seem to be better in terms of quality & taste.I like their Sizzling Bombay Steak. The salmon isn't all too bad however nobody goes to these kinda places to eat salmon! Love how the meals come with corn & coleslaw. Both fresh & yummy.

Guess what they say when you place your order? "Okay boss!" Haha. How true to their namesake. Tandoori here is decent. Not particular tender nor dry, and a little bit too salty, but meat was soft and easy to go down. Mint sauce is strong enough too.

As far as KL's standard for fried carrot/turnip cake goes, I don't really expect a lot. It's never as good as it is in the south (Johor). True to that, the one here is also just acceptable. Medium-softness of turnit cake, salty from the inclusion of "chai po", and mildly spicy.

Another Malay-craving day, and this time, for bawal masak kicap. Where else would one venture to, but a place that has "bawal" in the name? Haha.Nasi goreng kampung was up to standard - lots of anchovies and kangkung - salty and mildly spicy. I didn't care for the keropok and cucumber slice on the side, though.Bawal masak kicap lives up to the standard, but nothing over the top. Salty kicap, sweet, loads of vegetables, fresh fish. Really can't complain, except maybe the price for the fish is too

Came here to try their Grill Pepper Lamb as i received quite many good feedback from friends.This place is not really clean but still alot people are here for the food.The Grill Pepper Lamb cooked perfectly, you dont see any burn on the lamb and the lamb pour with the pepper sauce, taste delicious.And the lamb is very tender, not difficult to chew.And the price here also cheap.
