We were strolling around the mall to look for some affordable food and the banner in front of “Little Fat Duck” caught our attention. It offers selected spaghettis (ie: Spaghetti Bolognese, Carbonara, Creamy Pesto Fish and Mushroom Mornay) at a very affordable price of RM5 on every weekdays except for Friday Chicken Confit and some sides at RM15. We ordered 2 plates of spaghetti, Chicken Carbonara and Creamy Fish Pesto.I dined there on a Wednesday where they were having promotion for the Chicken
I dined there on a Wednesday where they were having promotion for the Chicken Carbonara, only RM5 per serving. The carbonara was rich with cream which made so tasty. The chicken given was just small slices of chicken ham where my sister isn’t fond of it.
I had the Creamy Fish Pesto (RM6) instead. The fish served was grilled salmon. They were very generous at giving the salmon, I can taste the salmon almost every bite. However, the pesto sauce wasn’t as good as expected. In fact, it didn’t taste like pesto at all. It tasted similar as the carbonara but in green instead of white; it is lack of basil, which I find is the most important ingredient in cooking pesto sauce.
Creamy Fish Pesto can be bought at RM5 on Tuesdays.
