Loh Bak (Small) - RM13To me, nothing can better my mother's rendition of the famous Loh Bak, but Fong Keow's version wasn't bad at all. The small portion comes in four sticks. A good loh bak has to have lots of meat in it, with some pieces of fats to make sure it tastes soft and not too dry. The Loh Bak consists of marinated the minced pork, rolled in thin soybean sheets and then deep fried until golden color, while maintaining the softness of the mean. The meat itself had this sweet herbal taste to it. Dip it in some chilli sauce for good measures.
