Fried sausage and onions... I really feel very English after eating this. Very simple and delicious for a simple, low-carb meal. The onions were not cooked to softness, but still crunchy... but it was still good. The sausages were peppery and very juicy.

Next, I tried their house special Sid’s burger. You can choose either chicken, lamb, pork, and beef patty which of course I choose PORK! The burger includes the pork patty with bacon and cheese. If you like add more topping for an extra RM 2 each or make it double happiness (double patty) for RM 28. That’s quite an affordable price to pay for such a big burger. I love Sid’s burger! The pork patty is very fresh and properly grilled. I love the way the cheese oozes out every time I take a bite on it. I usually will order some Coke to eat together with the burger. Nice!

This is the very first Sid's Pub, where it all started. It's also the busiest, with a good mix of locals and expats. The big events, such as the recent Arthur's Day celebration, are often held here. Basically there's always something on, especially if Frank or Sid happen to be around. If you are just there for a beer, I'd recommend ordering some Pigs in blanket, or Sausages fried with Chili and Onions to go with your pint. If you are a little more hungry than that, this outlet is famous for its ginormous Ben Nevis Burger which comes with 2 Patties (Pork, Beef or Chicken); add on Bacon, Ham, Egg, Cheese, Lettuce, and Tomato. The Pork patties would be no doubt my choice of protein, as they are juicy and well-seasoned. With the sexy runny egg yolk and melted cheese, this would be an unforgettable meal. My recent meal at Sid's TTDI was the Cod & Chips. When this was presented to me I was pleasantly surprised at how big the cod was. The batter was perfectly crispy, which is a lovely textural contrast with the wonderfully soft fish. No fishy taste too, which means the fish was quite fresh. The mushy pea is a lovely match, in fact I've asked for some extra too. I soaked the chips in plenty of malt vinegar, which is the authentic British way. Loved it!Service is definitely friendly. Ask for Jonathan or Kabi and they'll take care of you. This is a favourite amongst the girls. Err. For some reason.

It is a pub environment, so smelling of cigarette smokes is unavoidable and make the dining environment less pleasurable despite the good burgers that the pub offers. Lamb burger, add on egg. The lamb patty was tender and juicy, nicely done.Sid's pork burger, add on cheese and bacon. Compared to the lamb, this pork patty was a bit small and dry. Both burgers came with huge amount of fries!

Pub grub galore! Since I do not drink much, so I focus more on the snacks that go with the beers Pigs in blanket- tastiest of all, pork sausages wrapped in crispy baconFried chicken wings- some wings had a slight funny salted taste, maybe the wings are not at the freshestRoast pork ribs- quite charred when it landed on our table but quite nice to eatScotch eggs- eaten cold traditionally but I’m not used to that lolxSausages with chilis and onions- very very spicy until it brings tears to my eyes. I like the onions a lot though. Savory Meat Pie- quite nice but the pie crust is quite soggyCauliflower Cheese Bake- Classic dish that I do not like much because it's too heavySausage Bun- just your usual pork sausage in bunFries- The fries are exceptionally good to eat with dipsPapadum with mint dips- just your usual 10sen papadum with fancy dips The service is great and the staffs are friendly.
