Stir Fried Lala. My colleague was craving for Sajian Belanga lala, so we came to this restaurant during lunch time. Parking was quite hard to find during peak time and we saw someone reversing his car just nearby the restaurant. The stir fried lala was slightly spicy and it was tasty. The lala used were fresh and does not have fishy taste. It was not too salty, can be eaten by itself.

Tempeh and Beancurd. It was a challenge to find a parking space here during weekdays lunch hour abd we were very lucky that we got a place near the restaurant. The place was packed and we managed to find a table too. The beancurd was a normalnone that cooked in eggy broth. The beancurd was smooth and soft. The tempeh was cut into smaller pieces and had strong fermented smell.

Fried chicken. Since I do not feel like having fish that afternoon, I took the fried chicken drumstick. The fried chicken was coated and being deep fried. Although it was not crispy anymore (maybe due to being put at the counter for quite some time), the seasoning was still good. I could taste some spices coated on this fried chicken. It was not spicy but definitely has a good taste.

Peanuts with petai. I am a fan of peanuts especially when it was fried with anchovies. SajianBelanga’s version was similar and it has petai pieces as well. I do not take petai, but I want to eat the peanuts, so I scoop this dish anyway. I separated the petai pieces. The peanuts were crunchy and it was slightly sticky. The anchovies were crispy too and slightly salty. Overall, it was good.

Stir Fried beansprouts. There are a few vegetables varieties being offered at the counter. However, most of them left very little since we arrived late. With the limited choices, I took the stir fried beansprouts. These beansprouts were stir fried with spring onions and anchovies. The anchovies were not crunchy but it gave the beansprouts a saltier taste. The beansprouts were crunchy by itself.
