Pan Mee & Co is one of the restaurant located in the Tropicana City Mall where you can find a variety of choices of the local delights there. They do serves breakfast as well in the morning besides Pan Mee. Since we reached as early as 10 am to the mall, there is not much choices of eatery which is opened during the ought hours.The homemade yam cake is available here where it is served with the chilly sauce together. Thick yam taste with the fluffy texture, the yam cake is perfectly deliciously

After having the dumpling soup, I was still not very satisfied. Hence, I decided to order the otak-otak stick, as it looked rather promising from the menu. It was not too bad actually. The pieces of otak-otak were very well steamed, very hot. It smells quite nice as well. It was slightly spicy, but very flavourful, full of seafood taste. Priced at RM4 for five pieces, it was quite well worth the amount paid.

I have tried the fried sui kow before, and this time, I decided to try the sui kow soup. The sui kow has much filling, and the skin is silky smooth. Piping hot, the soup is also quite nice. Although it has some MSG taste, but that is expected. There were some sweet potato leaves in the soup as well, fresh and delectable. Priced at RM6 for four pieces, it was a bit expensive, but still OK.

The kaya butter toast in Pan Mee & Co is quite nice, despite the fact that they do not specialise in toast. One side is lathered in kaya, while the other half is covered in butter. I like the fact that the butter is evenly spread, compared to Old Town White Coffee's version, whereby chunks of butter is being put in between the toast. The toast is crispy on the outside, and fluffily white in the middle. Definitely recommended.

I usually do not take half boiled eggs outside, instead preferring to cook my own. This is because I either find the eggs not boiled enough, or overboiled which made the yolks very hard. However, the half boiled eggs in Pan Mee & Co is done quite well. The yolk is still runny, and the egg white is no longer translucent. The best thing is that they use omega eggs, which is supposedly healthier. Added in with some soya sauce and pepper, it was quite enjoyable.

I was at Tropicana City Mall with my parents the other day. It was past lunchtime, but we weren't very hungry as we had a very heavy breakfast. However, in anticipation that we might be having a late dinner, we decided to head over to Pan Mee & Co to have a light bite. I ordered the homemade yam cake. Two pieces for RM3.50. After having my chilli pan mee, I wanted something with some mouth-crunch, and I saw that the fried sui kow in the menu looked quite promising. Hence I ordered, and the dish came relatively fast, considering that there were a couple of tables still waiting for their food. The sui kow came piping hot and fried till golden brown. I like the fact that their filling is aplenty, and the skin is super crunchy. Priced at RM6 for four pieces, it was a bit expensive, but still OK.

Mum wanted to try their cendol, hence we ordered it to share. The cendol took quite a while to come, but it was fine as we weren't in a rush. I though that the ice shavings were a bit rough, not as smooth as it should be. I like the fact that they put the red bean and cendol jelly on the side inside of at the bottom of the bowl, so that we do not need to dig deep to get the delicious gems. The brown sugar and santan ratio was good, hence it wasn't very sweet, just right. Priced at RM3.50, it is

Feeling the spiciness of my chilli pan mee, I decided to order an ice lemon tea to wash it down. The drink came very quick. However, it was quite bland. There is hardly any tea flavour in it. The only consolation is that they put in two large slices of real lemons, hence there is a slight lemon-y sour taste. Priced at RM3, it is acceptable, though it would be better if they could put more tea in the drink.

Mum ordered the soup pan mee, as she prefers the traditional way of serving pan mee. The noodle is well cooked, springy and chewy as it should be. There were a reasonable amount of ingredients inside, namely minced meat, sliced mushrooms, sliced black fungus, fried anchovies and sweet potato leaves. I like the soup as it is quite flavourful, and tasted of pork broth stock. Some fried garlic oil was also added as extra flavouring. Priced at RM6.50, it is slightly pricier compared to the kopitiam

Mum and I were wondering around Tropicana City Mall as she wanted to get some clothes for grandma. We were feeling hungry as it was lunch time, so we decided to look around for some food. Tucked in the corner near the entrance of the parking lot was Pan Mee & Co. It was virtually invisible unless you pass by to go to the car park. Moreover it is quite a small shop, with about 6 small tables in the shop. The good thing is they actually get to place another 2 tables outside, probably as a smoking
