My boyfriend woke up late and we decided to have a late lunch at Kim Gary. Kim Gary has always been his favourite dining place because they offer a variety of food choices for him. However, he would eventually order the same dish, which is the fried egg and chicken in tomato sauce with rice. I’ve personally tried that dish before and I think it tasted not bad. Kim Gary Restaurant is located at Ground Floor of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, just outside of Parkson Store and beside Zhia's Kitchen. The first restaurant was opened at Sham Shui Po Tong Mei Road, Hong Kong in 1992. It has been expanded to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Singapore. While waiting for our main meal to be served during lunch time, we have ordered a starter, which called Sausages Party. Basically, from the name, the main ingredient used of course is sausage. They stick the sausage together with a slice of pineapple, put all the sticks around a sizzling pan and put sweet corn, cucumber and some vegetables in the middle. Lastly, they pour bosh soup on top the dish. Overall, I think this starter is just normal, like eating normal sausage, so nothing much to shout

One of their weekday set lunch is Yorshin Noodles Set Lunch. Basically, Yorshin Noodles is an instant noodle and you have around 5 choices of soup base to choose from. Beside choosing soup base, you also need to choose your set which differ but the ingredient they put. Each of the set comes with a drink as well. This is actually a satisfying, fulfilling one-dish meal on it's own. With piping hot steamed white rice that's topped with stir-fry pork shreds, a piece of fried rice and an assortment of veges (including brocollis, siew pak choy, corns, beans and carrots). It's super healthy and nutritious.. non oily, non fried. And plus it's drizzled with the most tasty Shanghai Sweet Soy Sauce ever

It's name definitely sounds fancy alright. But it's in actual fact just a simple comfort snack, but prepared deliciously no doubt. A whole long french loaf is cut into quarters. The quarters are then spread with butter and toasted for that aromatic touch. And then chopped ham and bacon baked in cheese are then sprinkled atop each french loaf quarter and served warm. mmmm

As it's name clearly implies.. yep, you can.. and is supposed to finish each drumstick in one bite. Maintaining a ladylike stance however, I think you would only get to finish in like 3 bites. haa haa The drumsticks really ain't too bad actually.. well-marinated with a special sauce and comes served in a small bowl with an assortment of veges - corns, brocollis and slice tomatoes

What I dislike most about Kim Gary's drink menu is that most of the drinks are just too overtly sweet for my liking. Too much sugary syrup.. they really should dilute with less spoonfuls and more water :-( Actually I super loved this drink, and it would easily have been my favorite on the menu if it hadn't turn out too sweet. Too much Ribena (what a wastage!) caused it to be too sweet. Luckily the fresh lemons and blended shaved ice dilute out the sweetness a bit...

I actually really don't like this drink at all. I mean, the aloe vera cubes are definitely OK. I loved the chewy texture! But the peppermint really tastes (and looks) like cough medicine. Seriously! It's dark green in color, and definitely looks exactly like what your doctor would prescribe. Errm.. a bit too sweet too.. for it's definitely lots of peppermint flavoring and essence...

Breakfast in Kim Gary Restaurant on a Saturday before language tuition. Craving for noodles and there I went my first tried on their zhu qian yi ting noodles with my favor luncheon meat and egg and a little bit of vege. One thing good about Kim Gary Sunway Pyramid is it's location OUTSIDE the mall itself, along the Oasis Boulevard..meaning it's still open to patrons after the mall proper closes at 10pm. If I remembered correctly, Kim Gary here closes at 11pm or 12pm yaay! No wonder there's so many patrons even late at night.... It serves popular Hong Kong dishes. Kim Gary offers lots of cheese baked food items in their menu, one of them is this Cheese Baked Japanese Beancurd with Abalone Mushroom. The dish was quite a big portion one. Lots of melted cheese in this dish, the melted dish covered the whole dish. The baked cheese smells really nice, very aromatic.
