Lao Ma Zi is hidden in the basement level at Wisma Yoon Cheng Jalan Ipoh Batu 4 1/2.There is free and ample parking space available.It has a wide range of dishes on their menu (e.g - Fish,chicken,pork, prawns, tofu, vegetable and etc) prepared in different home cooked style. This fried vegetables is very fresh, it fried with garlic only, taste is very good. The vegetable is very crunchy, the timing of cooking is just nice, little garlic taste mixed together, you do not need to add any other sauce in eating it. The dish finish very fast, all eaten. The restaurant is very crowded during dinner hour, and they do not have enough manning on serving us, but the speed of serving all the dish is still acceptable.

The restaurant is located behind the main road, lucky they do have a big sign board, otherwise you might not find the entrance, parking space here is a lot, tables are plenty too, but they are very pack during dinner time. This salted egg fried taufu is quite disappointing, the taufu is deep fried without defrost or not enough time to defrost, and the taufu is a bit oily. The salted egg taste is good, but not really mixed together with the taufu. Taufu is not crispy too, disappointed.

The restaurant is located at the basement of the complex, it is hidden behind the main road, but there is a signboard that can see from the main road. The menu variety here is a lot, they have this signature fresh fish that every table will also ordered one fish for their meal. This fresh steam fish is tasty, they use pineapple slices, onion, tomato, chilis to steam the fish together. The taste is sour and spicy, and fish is very fresh, but the fish size is very small, not much meat to eat.

something that would make you hard to decide when you want to which type of vegetable for dinner, for vegetable i would recommend 'fan shu miu' - don't know what it call in english. maybe you can google it online.a lot of children does not like to eat vegetables but this one is one of the vegetable that my niece would ask me to order. it does not taste bitter - as some vegetables will taste bitter. the taste of the vegetable is just nice not too salty.if i were to rate this dish i would probably

something that you want order when you go for a dinner with your family - steam cat fishThe waitress recommended us that that this steam cat fish with their signature sauce.it looks like cover with chili padi - but actually not spicy even a children can take it, however if to me the taste were not too strong but it were just match to the fish as it is a steam fish if the fish is a fry one if probably wont match as the aroma of the sauce is not strongif i were to rate this i would give 8/10

from the photo it does not look delicious at all, look like a pot of pork with dry chili inside a pot of oil.but actually it taste delicious, not too spicy and you can taste the strong vinegar but remember to eat it when it is still hot if not you would not have appetite to eat it as it will be cover with a thin layer of oil.the texture of the meat is soft which mean that it take enough time to cook it.if i were to rate this i would give 7/10

wanted to try something special for your dinner, try this at Lao Ma Zi, honey roasted pork,this dish also come along with a a special sauce make with their restaurant own recipe.this is one of their restaurant signature dishes, but it does not really something i want.the pork is slightly a bit dry and even the vegetable are not fresh. to me the sauce are not so specialif i were to rate this i would give 5/10

很有人情味的店名，沒想到菜式也很有家的感覺。店裡安裝了多把風扇，保持空氣流通。豬腳醋里的豬肉很肥美，但是都很有膠質，還好豬腳皮都有清理乾淨，可以放心吃。煲裡面還放了很多姜和黑醋，醬汁偏酸，夠味，可惜不夠辣。而店家用瓦煲保持了菜的溫度，吃到最後，還能喝到熱熱的豬腳醋湯。這是很下飯的一道菜，多數人的最愛。

店面非常不起眼，坐落于大夏的后面，或者说地下层。可是别担心，用餐的地方座位宽敞，绝对空气流通，泊车位也非常足够。这个砖头烧肉是店的招牌菜之一，用了三层肉去烧的。店家还配了泰式辣椒酱盛碟。一口咬下去，肥肉和瘦肉的组合不会腻，油脂融在口，瘦肉也很有咬劲。可是有点咸，如果是配啤酒就绝配。还有马来栈炒青菜，味道还好，分量很足。

我本身很喜欢吃蒸鱼，可是非常不喜欢鱼腥味，或者鱼泥味，那种感觉太恐怖了。这个招牌蒸鱼非常美味，有很多蒜米，豆瓣，姜丝，一起蒸。时间和火候掌控的刚刚好，加上新鲜的鱼，蒸出来就鱼肉非常软嫩和入味。一口接一口的吃，不能停啊。价钱不会太贵，时价。
