The sourish actually is to trigger your appetite, so after you start with this appetizer, you feel more appetite to start off with other main course. When eat thai food, one of the flavor that can never escape from your mouth is the spicy or sour taste. For instance, take this dish as example. It consists of 4 different kinds of vegetables, there are ladies finger, long bean, petai and prawns. It is fried with sambal. So if you don’t really like the smelly smell of petai, you don’t need to worry much. The spicy sambal fragrance is enough to cover the smelly petai taste. Everything served on the plate is crunchy.

There are many ways to cook a chicken. The most common way is the fried way. But I came all the way here with friends, I’m not gonna eat the fried chicken. I want to eat something spicy and not oily. I lied, you can delete the non oily part away. I want to eat something spicy. This chicken is cooked with chilli. The meat is very tender and soft. The whole chicken is tearsome. Then it taste a bit spicy. Not too much. The meat is very juicy as well. I like the overall texture.

The fried rice here, I would say is one of the few that is very special. The rice is sticked with all the egg. That's why you able to smell the egg fragrance around the whole place. The rice is not that dry nor too moisture until all the rice is sticked together. The prawns in the rice are a lot and they are very fresh. They might not be a lot of prawns but since they are fresh, the taste is great.

This place is very secluded and hard to find for first timer. You have to go through bumpy road and feels like you're in jungle on the journey.That's something different.Had this Thai Style Steamed Fish. Its awesome-possum. The best thai style fish i ever had. Its spicy enough until i have my tears and keep sneezing and sour enough too. I never had enough. The soup of the fish you mix it with rice is just fantastic. The fish is served hot and stayed hot all the moment we ate it.Highly recommende

This place is not easy to locate as it is halfway to Lookout point and the road signs are not obvious too. I have not been here quite sometime but from what I heard, the owners have renovated the place and the road to the restaurant is more well lit than it used to be. One of the dishes I enjoyed here is the salt baked fish. The fish is fresh out from the pond and it is gutted and rubbed with a large amount of salt before being cook over an open fire.

This ladies finger is steamed and then add on with some anchovies and onion. The dish is pretty simple. But if you didn't get the right steaming time, the ladies finger will be very old. It will turns out very soft and they are not crunchy at all. The oyster sauce enhance the taste of the ladies finger. I like this dish pretty much. Simple and tasty.

There are two types of tomyam here. One is white version tomyam, the other is red version tomyam. Frankly speaking, my preference of tom yam heavily depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to drink white tom yam, sometimes i like to drink red tom yam. The red tomyam here is more towards sourish and a bit of spicy. Looking at the cool surrounding, this is quite a nice place to enjoy the hot tom yam.
