I was shopping for groceries at KSL when I spotted I love yoo. I decided to buy home a couple of you tiao to eat together with the porridge that I was going to cook for lunch. Their you tiao is really good, it was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Most importantly, it was not too oily. It did not have any oily taste as well. Some you tiao just taste so oily that it will spoil the taste of the porridge but this was not the case. In fact it went absolutely well with my porridge.

I like those traditional afternoon tea like you tiao and tau foo far. As I was not too hungry, I ordered myself a tau foo far. I love yoo's tau foo far is one of the nicer ones I have tasted. The tau foo far is so smooth and delicate. You can taste the freshness of the soya beans that they used to make it. With the sugar syrup added, it was not overly sweet, kind of well balanced. It was really delicious, smooths db simply glides down your throat.

我的生活离不开老友鬼鬼。虽然不是每天光顾，但是一个月一定有一次！我特爱老友鬼鬼的粥，因为他们的粥很绵，而且可以自己家麻油，豆油。我通常都是点他们的set,有粥有我很爱的豆浆！绝配！

Soya bean drink. This brunch of mine was so healthy, cruller, porridge and a soya bean drink. The drink was luke warm which I prefer. It was really full of soya bean taste and not diluted at all. The sweetness level was just nice. I have some sensitive stomach again some soya bean, but this I Love Yoo one was ok, it did not cause me any stomach irritation. I dont mind drink this at all.

Crullers. Since the name of shop is crullers, definitely is a must-order and signature item here. I ordered a stick to go with my porridge. Although the crullers were not really big, the portion definitely more than enough for one person. It was very crispy and the oiliness was still acceptable. Every bite of it will give a "crock crock" sound. It was slightly salty.

Porridge. My friend had been raving how good I Love Yoo porridge it and finally I get to try it. This was the first time I patron I Love Yoo. The porridge was a simple one, topped with spring onions, pepper and sesame oil. Once I scoop up the first mouthful, it was extremely smooth and soft. It was really good! The porridge was bland but it has the essence of the sesame oil and spring onions.

I'm not really like to eat crullers. I only will eat it under 1 condition - There is something for me to dip it. Regardless they are kaya, soup, black sauce, or soya sauce. As long as it is not pure dry then I'm ok to eat it. So this shop they offer me to eat the crullers with porridge. The crullers is quite crunchy even though you dip into porridge. Of course you don't dip it too long. Or else sure no longer crunchy.

This is a very simple concept stall. They serve Yao char kuey and porridge too. I never eat yao char kuey with porridge before. This is the place that I first time try. Basically you just throw in the fresh yao char kuey into their hot porridge. When the yao char kuey soften, you eat it. The texture is like the one you throw into bak kut teh soup. I like it because it adds on some taste onto the plain porridge.
