As we learnt from our previous order, the RM 39.90 promotion set comes with 9pcs of Chicken and fixed sides order, we decided to opt for 9pcs chicken ala carte order which cost us RM 38.40. Although its not as worth as compared to the promotion set, it is definitely a better choice as we did not really enjoyed the mashed potato and coleslaw in our previous order.Besides the ala-carte chicken, we also order a side of Regular Fries for RM 3.90. Double Down Burger. This is a special invention by KFC - Double Down, a burger made of 2 chicken patty with cheese and bacon. The chicken patty acted like a burger bun, it was deep fried and very crispy. Slightly salty but still tolerable. The cheese slightly melted in the middle and the bacon was crispy. Overall, it was quite oily but it was still fine, because it tasted unique.

KFC serves one of the best mashed potato among the fast food chain. There are still better home-made mashed potato offered by other restaurants, but still KFC was the above average one. The brown gravy flooded the mashed potato was hot, thick and creamy. It has a slightly peppery taste and made it more flavourful. The mashed potato was soft, sticky and very moist. It was not too salty.

I could say KFC has the best coleslaw in town and I will always just take away the big portion of coleslaw. It consisted cabbages and carrots. All these ingredients were being cut into tiny pieces and mixed with coleslaw sauce. All the ingredients were very crunchy, I do not know how they do it, but it was very good. It was sweet and some pieces of the cabbages were bitter though.

Snack Plate - Spicy chicken. The snack plate came with mashed potato, coleslaw and a bun. I always stick to the spicy version as I find it more flavourful and crispy. Indeed, that day, the skin was very crispy and the curry powder was spicy too. Although it was oily, but once in a while, it was fine with me. The meat was not a lot but it was not too dry either. I don't mind eating this again.

Cheesy Wedges. I was introduced to this version of wedges by my colleague who has always craving for it. Once I tried it, I love it too. So, that day when I visited KFC, I added on the cheesy wedges. The wedges was topped with two type dipping sauce, white and orange. I would say the orange sauce was the cheesy sauce which gave the wedges extra cheesiness and saltines. The wedges were not too crispy.
