My typical experience with steak houses (or any other western restaurant, for that matter) is that the soup is mostly uninspired, poorly-executed, or not even bothered with at all. This is quite easily one of the best steaks I've ever had, in my life. Dry-aged ribeye, medium-rare. I like that they only have a finite selection of meats, at specific sizes, and charge by weight. The meat was remarkably flavourful, and cuts with ease. Every bite was pure enjoyment. The outer layer is charred with a light crisp, and the insides were just so juicy, despite its namesake.

Their choices of mustard were leaps and bound beyond any I've ever had, and my choice of roast onions really complemented the steak very, very well.

Also tasty: sliced beef marinated with soy sauce, paired with chew-worthy barley risotto.

The Beato will also serve its own dry-aged steaks in the weeks to come. Sounds good.
