I have mentioned before usually before I perform, I try not to overload myself with food. Which is why when I did a gig at Pietro, a lovely Italian restaurant located at the ECM Libra building, I ordered the most basic meal: Spaghetti Aglio Olio.Even though it's basically just garlic, olive oil, parsley (and a leave of basil on top), chili flakes, it was quite tasty. As we are celebrating a birthday for a friend of mine, we proceed to order Quattro Formaggio pizza to share together with my bunch of friends. It's my salary day today! So, I decided to splurge some cash and spent it on some nice dinner meal at Pietro Ristorante Italiano located at ECM Libra building. As I was browsing the menu, I spotted their lamb shank which looks very delicious! So I'm ordering one! It doesn't come cheap though, it was RM 52 per plate. The Lamb Shank as it arrived, didn't disappoint me. The meat was fork tender and it comes with some side dish which is mashed potato, carrots and cucumber. Very balance diet indeed.

After some good experience with Salmone Pasta at Pietro Ristorante Italiano, I'm coming here again for another good Italian fare. I ordered D'antara Pasta which is RM 33 per plate. D'antara Pasta is a penne type pasta with some mixture of sweet tomatoes and some salty smoked ducked breast slices. The penne was cooked al- dente which is fine for me. But I found that the sweet tomato doesn't really compliment well the smoked duck breast slices. Oh, maybe some other dish next time.

We went to this romantic Pietro Ristorante Italiano to have some weekend dinner. After taking a while to browse the menu, I proceed to order Salmone Pasta as the main course of the day. The Salmone Pasta was creamy in consistency and consist of generous amount of smike salmon and a dollop of lumpfish caviar (talking about luxury here The pasta and combination of the ingredient turns out to be very delicious and the creamy sauce was not too thick either! Will order this again on my next visit!

I went to Pietro Ristorante Italiano located at ECM Libra building at Damansara Heights. It was a very nice Italian restaurant. So I proceed to order Caprese Salad (RM 28). This salad consist of some fresh and sweet tomatoes arranged neatly with some buffalo mozarella cheese cut into thick pieces, a sprinkle of chopped basil leaves and kalamata olives. What can I say, the salad was very fragrant and healthy!

We never been to Pietro Ristorante Italiano before, so we plan to have a few things to try. Warm Asparagus Salad was our the starter of the day. At RM30 per plate, it is consider pricy for just a few sticks of vegetable. Basically it was just some steamed asparagus sticks drizzle with some thinly sliced parmesan cheese which melted when touching the vegetable. Although it was just a simple dish, I really like it!

The set lunch with spring chicken is great and super affordable. Threw a company lunch there and ordered mainly pizzas and pastas for everyone to share. Highlights were the penne arrabiata and the tiramisu. I've held several small-scale dinners here before and the restaurant, and chef have been brilliant. A glass of water never goes unfilled and staff are super attentive. But what I love most about Pietro is the sense of privacy you have when you dine, so close to where I work!

On a perfect evening where you are looking for a perfect dining place with several close friends for a couple of good wine and food; Pietro, Damansara Height.
