MID AUTUMN YUE PING AT THE EMPEROR, DORSETT GRAND SUBANG
In here, The Emperor Chinese Restaurant offers a wide choice of the baked flavors such as the Pandan Lotus Paste with Egg Yolk, Pure Red Bean Paste, Pure Sweet Potato Paste with Single Egg Yolk and White Lotus paste with Double egg yolk, just to name a few. If you would like to purchase some for health conscious friends and relative, you may try their low sugar selection of White Lotus Paste with Single Egg Yolk, and Pure White Lotus Paste.

Not only the traditional mooncake, they do have the Crystal Skin Mooncake like Crystal Skin Pandan Lotus Paste with Egg Yolk , Crystal Skin Red Bean Paste, and Crystal Skin Pure Sweet Potato Paste with Single Egg Yolk. Each of every mooncake is simply well made with the not-too sweet paste that comes with it.

Overall, I love their traditional mooncake which is the Lotus Paste Mooncake which taste good. The mooncake gives a great texture and what I love about the whole mooncake is where it is not too sweet. With this, it would be a perfect gift for the elderly. The packaging is also very useful where I can stuffed my makeups and even some stationery into it.

We ended the meal with the sweet delights which is the Rainbow Jelly Cake. The rainbow Jelly Cake is indeed bringing the soft texture of the cakes and it is alike having mashmellow in the mouth. The cake is topped with shredded coconut and the taste is ultimately good and delighting. I love the soft and fluffy texture of the cake as well as the melts in the mouth experience.Price: TBD

Stir Fried Red Garoupa Fillet with Yellow Chives served in Noodle Basket (九王雀巢泡班球) is what we had as well. The Garupo fish which is served together in the Noodle Basket is indeed good in the taste. The dish is indeed well presented beautifully with the crafted yam with it. The Deep-Fried Chinese New Year Cake with Glutinous Dumpling “Shanghai” Style (香脆年糕拼芝麻雷沙汤丸). This is where we are served with the Nian Gao with the yam and sweet potato which is being wrapped and deep fried. As for the glutinous dumplings, it is being stuffed with the black sesame and being wrapped with the glutinous dumpling. It is then being added with grated peanut on top makes it even prefect.

Chilled Mango Puree with Mixed Fruit (什果楊枝甘玉露) is the one of the desserts that i love as well in The Emperor . The golden desserts are filled with mango puree, cut cube mango, pomelo as well as strawberry and sago with it. The desserts is not too sweet and it is really soothing as well. With the sweet mix, it does end me a sweet meal at the emperor too.

The Emperor restaurant is well located at the Mezzanine floor of Dorsett Grand and it is one of the top choices for a buffet in the city on Sundays as well as Public Holidays. 好鲜美的汤啊。汤头因为有带子的关系而且熬煮了一段时间汤头颜色变到有点奶白色的感觉。还带有海带的鲜甜味道。更不用担心带子会变到很难咬很硬,因为这个不会有这个问题。
