The Yam Pastry is good from inside out. The inner layer if make of char siew cooked with black soy sauce while being wrap with a layer of yam and coated with flour before frying over the hot pan until crispy crunch. The yam layer was thin and just nice and you can immediately taste the crunch and aromatic char siew in it. The Yam Pastry is pretty heavy in flavour and tend to cover up taste from other dish, thus make sure you plan your dish sequence. Not bad but not the best as I've tasted better
