It was a very sad day for me today so my friend accompanied me for late dinner here. When I was told that it was actually his birthday to my surprise, I forced myself to smile. Anyway, when I reached here, the ambience of the restaurant immediately changed my emotions and gave me happiness. Somehow, the place is great one for hangout and chilling out with friends and buddies. The place is not too noisy for private conversations too. One could see the chef making the pies too.  I had a hard time

It was a very sad day for me today so my friend accompanied me for late dinner here. When I was told that it was actually his birthday to my surprise, I forced myself to smile. 

Anyway, when I reached here, the ambience of the restaurant immediately changed my emotions and gave me happiness. Somehow, the place is great one for hangout and chilling out with friends and buddies. The place is not too noisy for private conversations too. One could see the chef making the pies too.  

I had a hard time deciding what to order as everything was unique. Finally, I ordered the Mushroom Portabello (RM 38) which was supposedly a signature dish here. Can you believe it that the whole item is a big fat mushroom right slab on top of my plate with some hashy items that was not even mashed potato? I finished my whole dish, every crumble of it. 

My friend ordered the Mushroom Foisgras (RM 42). The garnishing was very special. The thin slices of zucchini and carrots were beautifully placed on the plate. There were some crispy fried crackers to be eaten with the liquid fois gras. I never knew fois gras come in such a liquid. My friend did nto finish it probably because he was not used to it.

He also ordered a small plate of Beef Steak appetizer-style. The steak was a tad too salty for me but the portion was just nice. 

I ordered the Detoxification Juice (RM 10) which consisted of vegetables, lemon and some zest resulting in an entired greenish drink served in a small glass bottle. 

My friend ordered a glass of white wine (RM 24) which tasted ok though a little bitter. 

I totally like the brown leather Menu which was made to roll up into a scroll. It is very creative. The best part is that menu are placed on top of a fake tree.
