When my colleague who is considered a Chinese food connoisseur took me for Seafood Mee Sua or simply called Mee Sua Tow in Hokkien, located quite near my office in SS2 for my 25th birthday, I have always craved for it, probably because I absolutely like mee sua. Today, finally after days of suggesting mee sua and getting rejected, my colleague finally relented and suggested mee sua herself today! I was like, Hurray!!

On my birthday I tried Tom Yam mee sua which was very flavoursome and spicy. This time three of us ate mee sua tow which was basically thick mee sua soup with loads of seafood. There were quite a number of prawns (at least 3), fish slices, fake crabmeat, fish maw (yeah!) and even a small piece of abalone, all for only RM 12! So how can my colleagues call this expensive? In fact, it was cheaper than the Seafood Bihun in Kelana Jaya which cost almost RM 18 or even the one in Bayan Lepas Penang which cost almost RM 20! But perhaps my colleague think it is more expensive than the normal stuff we eat. One thing is for sure, the soup with egg was so tasty one could just easily slurp the whole bowl.

The next time I come, I had better bring more friends so I could taste the fried oyster where the picture looks quite tasty.

We also had the boiled octopus with chilli sauce and peanuts. But I find the octopus too small or I try to pacify myself saying it is perhaps because they have cut it into very small pieces.

The chrysanthemum drink was quite tasty at RM 1.80.
