Ever since I was introduced to this incredible place for mee sua, I have never stopped coming here whenever I have mee sua craving. The place is also air-conditioned so this is good for the hazy heaty days.I ordered the Seafood and Scallop Mee Sua Tow (RM 12.90) which came served in such a big bowl! The soup was a bit sticky and just marvellous. The seafood such as fish meat, oysters, octopus, prawns, fake crabmeat were fresh and very delicious. The addition of Scallops cost about RM 9 extra. My friend ordered the spicy Tom Yam Seafood Mee Sua Soup. The tom yam flavour was very strong and very flavoursome indeed that my friend finished every drop of it! I also drank very refreshing umbra juice, freshly squeezed. continue reading

continue reading

Overall the taste was okay. It is just that I am not a big fans of loh mee and that kind of oyster. My friend ordered it and we shared. To me it was a bit yarky after eating a small bowl of it. I find it nothing special to worth that price. Anyway you might like it if you like loh mee. My friend looked like being forced to finish it since I did not take much. The oysters were considered fresh anyway. continue reading

Boiled octopus. I was feeling hungry that day and apart from the normal mee suah tow that I ordered, I added on this boiled octopus too. It came in a silver tray that has compartment to separate the octopus from the dipping sauce and the cucumber slices. The boiled octopus was fresh and very springy. The cutting was just nice. Eaten together with the dipping sauce, it was slightly salty and spicy, very delicious. continue reading

Since this is another signature dish by Teow Chew Meng, we ordered portion for 2 pax to share among 5 of us along with other dishes that night. The porridge here is rather different where we usually get smooth porridge and the rice kernels shape is hardly to be seen. Here, the rice and soup is separated, very much to Teo Chew style. The soup is flavourful from the ingredients that is used to boil it. The rice still retains a bit hard texture but it is considered soft enough. Seafood such as fish slices, sotong, prawns, filament crabstick and others were fresh. continue reading
