The restaurant offers rice plus noodles @ affordable prices with a smattering of Hongkong and local dishes. Daily freshly roasted meats, including delicious looking roast duck, roast pork, barbecued pork and roast chicken by their very own In house Chef with more 10 years of culinary experience. In house specialty is Barbecue Pork Rice or "Ngam Yin Siew Wan Rice" which derived from Stephen Chow’s classic comedy film, The God of Cookery. Since then, this BBQ Pork Rice become a synonym in Hong Kong due to the popularity of the film! I simply loved this rice dish. One can actually salivate or drools over just by looking at this appetising bowl of BBQ pork served with sunny side up egg accompanied with some boiled siew pak choy. Chef's choice of using the pork belly for this dish was excellent. That was a melt-in-the-mouth experience as I slowly savours each piece of the BBQ meat. Moist & aromatic flavour oozing in my mouth, wonderful combination texture of a nice layer of meat with a nice layer of fat, it's roasted close to perfection. Can't believe this as I'm never a fan of 'fatty cha siew' but honestly, this is some of the best cooked BBQ meat I‘ve ever had.
