Bulgogi Brothers is one of the top 2 South Korean casual dining chains and a frequent haunt of Korean celebrities. The brand was established with the opening of its first outlet in Gangnam, Korea in 2006.

'Bul' means fire while 'gogi' means meat in Korean. Bulgogi is a savory dish that dates back to 200 years which seasoned meats are prepared and grilled by the tableside. At Bulgogi Brothers, the meat is grilled tableside by the server as each table is equipped with customized state-of-the-art built-in grill in induction cooker.

Aside the bulgogi dishes, other must try items at Bulgogi Brothers are Kimchi Jjigae, spicy stew made with ripened kimchi, beef and tofu; Haemul Doenjang Jjigae, and Janchi Guksu, known as the 'party noodles' in Korea that served in seafood broth and garnished with vegetables.

Haemul Doenjang Jjigae that costs 26.90 Ringgit Malaysia is a slow cooked doenjang broth or soybean stew served with shrimps, soft shell crab and various vegetables. The thick broth was rich in flavor with freshness from the seafood in slightly spicy.

Bibimbab was another all-time signature in Korean cuisine. I had the Haemul Bibimbab at Bulgogi Brothers that cost 28.90 Ringgit Malaysia. It was served in a bowl of warm rice topped with various Namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and spicy seafood. You need to stir the ingredients together thoroughly before eating. Aside seafood, there are other option to choose for the additions such as beef (Bulgogi Bibimbab), spicy chicken (Chicken Bibimbab) and sliced chili raw beef (Yukhoe Bibimbab).
