A Wet’s seafood tom yam is prepared with many types of Thai herbs with the special addition of coconut milk that makes it smoother. I love the deep fried kangKung, it tasted good crunch but fairly soft insides. They served the very special as the water have a the fragrant of Pandan leaves, to eliminate spicy and heavy taste of those foods. It was a great place for thai food. continue reading

A Wet Thai Cafe is a restaurant that serves Thai cuisine, as it name suggests It offers a great variety of dishes at reasonable prices and You can never missed the brightly-lit nameboard! Fried paku-pakis with belacanIt tasted like fried kangkung with belacan at other Chinese restaurants, which is not a bad thing, but I'm not sure if you could can paku-pakis outside Thai restaurant too Fried kangkung, served with special sauceThis is one of their specialties, which I find very interesting. It is very crispy and not too oily. The sauce was really good, which I find not very spicyPad ThaiI couldn't find this dish off the menu so we personally asked on of the employees or employer (I don't know) for it and they said it is the same as "Fried Keow Teow" - what it's called on the menu. The bean sprouts were succulent and crunchy and I really liked the zesty flavour that the lime adds to itSteamed FishSorry I could not remember the full name of this dish but it's off "House Specialties" if I'm not mistaken I think it was alright because it wasn't like hot hot, despite placed above a coal-burning stand (not sure what you call them). It comes with a bowl of soup that you could add on after the broth served with the fish is drained. A good substitute for tom-yam soup but the only thing that's lacking is the hot sensationCrab cooked with Thai curryThis is sooooo gooD! My sister has been craving for crabs and this totally made her day! (ours too) The crabs were really big and fresh! The portion was so big that we were stuffed, but still managed to clear them off in the endPandan leaf chickenAnother great dish The pandan-leaf-wrapped-chicken was flavourful and would be suitable for those who cannot handle the heat! (spicy!) continue reading
