Spicy Braised Pork Noodle
Taiwan Recipe served Taiwanese foods, beverages and snacks. This is spicy braised pork ramen. The soup is very spicy with their special home made chili sauce but it taste very good. The braised pork is mix with pork and belly pork. It is fresh and not oily. The braised pork taste quite special with the spicy soup, and the taste had go into the soup to make it tastier. The ramen is big portion and it is very Q. Overall, it taste good and delicious.

Crispy Chicken
Deep fried chicken is wonderful dish in a row where it is fried until golden brown where it offer a crispy crunch on the outer layer while the meat inside is juicy and tender. The only thing I wish they could do is to remove the bone so that I can munch without hassle. Anyway, the chicken is very well marinated before being fried and it is rich in flavour and is really finger licking good (assuming you're eating with your bare hand tongue).

Fried Banana
One of the special dessert here is their Fried Banana with Ice Cream. The dish is made of fried banana wrapped in dumpling skin instead of flour and is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream shower with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with a generous amount of chunk nuts. To eat you mix both ice cream and the fried banana together for a combination satisfaction from both hot and cold world. The dumpling skin does add on to the crispiness of the friend banana and is very unique indeed.

Hokkaido Cake Smile Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

Hokkaido Cake
If you're ordering the Ramadan set when dining here, you will get these Hokkaido Cake inclusive in the set menu as well. The hokkaido cake is soft and fluffy on the center where a punch of cream is located and had a mildly hard texture on the surface where it is dusted with snow sugar. Every bite is extremely addictive and satisfying and one isn't enough. Although Alicafe is no pastry specialist, I'm very impress with not just the taste of this cake but also the texture and satisfaction of it.

Grilled Vegetable Smile Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

Grilled Vegetable
The grilled vegetable with sambal hebi hiam sauce is pure awersome and spicy. The mixed vegetable consist of long bean, brinjal, and lady finger where they are all well cooked with crunchiness still preserved to it. The sauce is actually make of sambal with the additional of fine grind dried prawn and that explain why the sauce is extra aromatic and strong in both flavour and taste. This is the fundamental dish for all the grilled dish except that it is cheaper compare to those with meat. I

Of all the three sauce / gravy, I think sambal hebi hiam is the best, with rich and thick flavour and not forgetting the mixture of Malay and Chinese ingredient in making it.
