Seaweed Fried Rice
Simple Life demonstrates new concept of healthy food where they serves vegetarian meal which are organic, natural and most importantly, nutritious. That is what got Simple Life to differentiate it from other vegetarian restaurant. The meal is made of stir fried rice with frozen vegetable, vegetarian luncheon meat, mushroom, and seaweed where it is accompany by slice of watermelon, fried, and vegetarian nugget. The rice is good but was not the best I've tasted in the same league. The rice is flavourful and interestingly delightful. Even though the ingredient look like the real meat, it doesn't feel so in my mouth and come with very close in taste wise.

Dry Noodle with Curry Chicken OK Jul 07, 2012

Dry Noodle with Curry Chicken
Reminisce Cafe is a old school concept restaurant where the decoration and snack sold here intended to bring back the good old childhood memory especially during the 70s 80s and early 90s. However the intention is only on the decoration setup as I think the food, especially the main course may look like the olden days but doesn't taste like one. The dry noodle I had is cook to perfection and not too soggy nor overly dry, the curry chicken contain a lot of bone and 'fat' maybe it is just the part that I got unlucky with as I usually prefer breast meat. Overall taste is pretty good but missing the taste from the past.

Logan Sago with Ice Cream OK Jul 06, 2012

Logan Sago with Ice Cream
Sweet Hut proclaim dessert did not disappoint me when I tried out the Logan Sago with Vanilla Ice Cream some time back but didn't go enough to carry and make its dessert a craving in my honest opinion. The dessert I had is milky and creamy and the extra chilling from ice cream is definitely a body heat cool down factor. To my surprise with 2 sweetest thing (logan + ice cream) on earth combined, the dessert wasn't overly sweet and to me, it tasted just good.

Fried Kuey Teow OK Jul 06, 2012   (Related Review)

Fried Kuey Teow
It was my first meal from Steven's Corner that doesn't involves "Roti" and I order simply just to try and compare with Chinese char kuey teow which in fact there no way of comparing because each have its own goodness. Even though there is no lard in this plate, it tasted kind of good. The kuey teow is rich in flavour, and I know that usually kuey teow doesn't absorb the flavour and is kinda plain but not this. If you order any fried meal here, ask for "telur atas" because I think it would simply taste better with the egg separated. Overall the fried kuey teow here is slightly above average but doesn't reach the yummilicious bar yet, and oh ya, is kinda oily too.

Chilli Pan Mee OK Jul 06, 2012

Chilli Pan Mee
With Pan Mee becoming popular again, it was my first time trying out the chilli pan mee at face to face noodle house and it was only average. Not sure if I can replace the thick noodle with the thin version, but I did not inform / ask and I got the thick one which is not my best preference. However they do give generous portion of ingredient and the chilli is super spicy. I can't help but notice there's a little bit of sweetness in the chilli after mixing all together. Not the best I've tried and not the worst too, might still be back to try other flavour.
