Mini Bites OK Mar 31, 2014

There is this sudden craving when am dropping by for some snacks at the night market. Perhaps due to quite a long hiatus since i last savour this kaya balls.

Sold in a pack of 10, these balls are simply enjoyable, fluffy with some decent filling of kaya in it. Not too sweet but still make a quick hunger fix in between especially when you are on the go.

Vegetarian Biscuits Smile Mar 31, 2014

After some hiatus from having this pastries, here i am again, back to get some packs for the rest of the week lol

This biscuits is suitable for vegetarian. It is soft and fluffy, comes with a light hint of eggy aroma. I guess this would be ideal to lacto vegans, but if you are not too rigid about it, these biscuits actually make quite a good alternative snack.

Hokkien Noodles OK Mar 31, 2014

Much have been said about this food chain, if not mistaken is originating from Singapore.
Well, eventually here I am, to give it a try for my own verdict.

Ordered their signature Moonlight Koay Teow, but I unfortunately, it doesn’t vow me as much as I expected. It’s tad oily and not much greens to be noticed. No doubt it is silky smooth.

But the Amaranth Soup is done pretty well. At least there is minimum MSG used, clear but sapid soup. Most importantly, I get to indulge in my fav, vege! lol

Cream Pasta Smile Mar 27, 2014   (Related Review)

Don't belittle this humble Korean kiosk, for it does add some Western twist to its famous Korean cuisine.

Over here too, you could get a decently good Carbonara Pasta. It is not too cheesy but comfortably creamy with some sweet gravy at the bottom, i suppose from its inhouse relish. If compared to the usual meal prepared the Western way, this cup appear to be drier version that offers another way of enjoyment. I personally quite like it this way, where it is lighter that it just simply goes well with the chopped mushroom, diced juicy tomatoes and dashes of cheese powder. Yum yum!

Korean Curry Spaghetti Smile Mar 27, 2014

Usually those common curry carte from Pan-Asian that i have tasted so far is mostly either from Japanese or Indian region. But to have bumped into one in Korean kiosk, is something fresh to me.
The Cup, having secured a pretty decent lot is operated by one Korean native owner. He was a humble and friendly oppa that speaks good English, so no worries on the language barrier smile
This Curry Spaghetti served here does resembles those that i have tasted before, in term of the spice and fragrance it exudes. Not too spicy but comes with mild sweetness, so shouldn't be an issue to those folks who can't stand too spicy food. It is savory and not overly soupy.
