Bulgogi BBQ House  Smile Aug 03, 2012   (Related Review)

This would be another round of gastronomic trip to Bulgogi again!
Have always love the environment and dishes. But unfortunately, camera was nearly run out of battery. Thus only able to share a few quick ones of yummiessmile

As usual, we would be welcomed by their Ban Chan side dishes. You may savour it while waiting for the main orders to arrived. And should you wish to try more on your favourite ban chan, kindly let the friendly staff know and they shall help you to refill it.

One thing that I would never go without is their Korean Corn Teasmile I enjoy their malty taste and it helps to clear off your tummy after sinful dishes, hehe

We tried their Bibim Bap and Sun Dubu Jigae. My apologies for the brief sharing as the battery wasn’t lasting long and already blinking the red light! LOL….

The rice was nicely eaten with their fresh greens and assorted ingredients like carrot and mushroom. Surprisingly their gochujang paste wasn’t that spicy, so it’s good to go! ^^ But for their Sun Dubu Jigae, it’s slightly hotter and naturally spicier, that cause me to sweat awhile, hehe. Nevertheless, it’s savoury tasty with mild sourish of the kimchi, thus enhancing your appetite further!

Yummy! Gomawoyo……. ^^

Sun Moulin @ One Utama Smile Aug 03, 2012   (Related Review)

Another bakery worth recommended! Carrot Walnut cake from Sun Moulin Bakery. Good to take-away for my trip out of the town. So I can enjoy some in the car in case I was caught in traffic snarl~.~ . But better hope I could enjoy it together with my family later on upon arrival! tongue

It got a soft texture with nutty walnut. It might appear a tad oily, but nonetheless, you won’t feel too full as I believe it’s also part of the natural “richness” of the walnut itself. It’s really good to chew on the very bits and the lingering aroma does stay for sometime, hehe…

If you find that still not very much to your liking, then you can opt for this Cheesy Tuna. It’s in a moderate size, not too big nor small, but enough to cater your hunger pangs for awhile, hehe. The tuna filling was generous and creamy with mayonnaise, and also few additions of the green peas. On top of that, some melted cheese were actually added to it, hehe..

Seems like there are really a lot of choices for the patrons to choose from their delectable spread of pastries.

And they do have a creative and catchy “bakery” décor on their wall as well! Already drooling…… hehe

Their Marble Cake was nice too!
And is handy as they were nicely packed and convenient for those who is always on-the-go.
It wasn’t too buttery but gives out a very smooth aroma upon “officiating’ the packettongue Aside from the nice, artistic chocolaty pattern on the cake, it contributes to a nice sweetness to the cake and not overdoing it. In between the two partitions, it was layered with a thin layer of butter cream, which makes it further smoother.

Nice one! ^^

Bread Delicious  Smile Aug 03, 2012

Categories : Western variety | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Back to my favourite bakeries at the nearby community shopping malltongue
Usually I’ll make a drop by during the weekend at Bread Delicious, in order to replenish my bread stock! Hehe.. I guess bread is one of my staple menus every week. Can be enjoyed at home or bring it to the office for snacking time, hehe….

Joining the crowd, hehe…

9 Grains Loaf
A delish loaf with varieties of grain and nutrition. It does resemble the Honey Oat which I often get it from Berry, SS2, except it doesn’t have the mild sweetness of honey. Still, it’s best eaten with just the spread of butter. To me, it just taste delicious as it is.

Then come this special pastry to me, Bean Curd Cake!
I must admit that I love this pastry dearly! It tastes so soft and silky. And I really love the soft texture till at one point, I felt like am enjoying it as a cheesecake! Hehe….On top of that, it has the chicken floss to add some mild savory taste on it, which really goes well with the soft cake texture. I’ll go for another round should I patron Bread Delicious again!

Yummy !!

Retro Kitchen @ SS2 Smile Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

This is one of the casual dining café that serves delicious food with comfortable environment at affordable price. This café has been rebranded from Mojo’s Upstairs to the current Retro Kitchen, locating strategically at SS2.

Its name says it all for its quaint interior décor. Simple yet nostalgic. ^^

I just love their chequered table setting with flowers! ^^

Chicken Schnitzel
My favourite cheesy pick! The melted mozzarella cheese was superb and baked to perfection. The chicken meat was tender and not too floury. The accompanied salad was nice with decent mayonnaise.

Linguini Duck Aglio Olio
This linguine was much better than the one I had at Delicious Café.
It’s not too oily, but was fragrantly tossed with fried garlic slices as well as juicy duck meat fillet.

To complete this sinful but scrumptious dinner, best to end with Ice Blended Fresh Orange Juice and Carrot Milk! Slurps……….

I really enjoyed this meal from the bottom of my heart! ^^
