My boyfriend brought me to this restaurant and I came to know about it! This is a nice place! They serve range of western foods. The environment is very nice, romantic, classy and is suitable for couples' dates! smile

The moment I entered the shop, I chose a table at the corner of the shop with windows to see through outside. The sky is still bright as it was only around 6pm.

The price range of the food here is RM11.90 to RM22.90. The food is not very big portion. However, you can purchase it with set by adding another RM5.50. It will come with a main course + soup of the day + Dessert (chocolate puff or jelly pudding) + Drink (4 choices).

I got the mushroom soup! And it tasted really nice. It is absolutely not those Campbell soups! They cook themselves! Must try this if you are here!

And I ordered Cajun Chicken. The rice served is butter rice, grilled marinated chicken of breast meat with brocolli. It tasted normal. Perhaps the chicken part is breast meat, so it is a bit too hard for me to bite! mad But the butter rice is yummy!

My boyfriend ordered Fish N Chips! This comes with fatty fries! I love it! Haha~

The last one is the dessert! Both of us ordered Chocolate Puff! This is nice! It comes with ice-cream. The chocolate puff is filled with chocolate fillings. Taste just nice to match with the ice-cream.

Overall Comment: This meal costs us only RM37.80. The price for their food is reasonable! Very satisfied and I felt enjoy to eat at there. The ambience is very good.

Meet Fresh Taiwanese Desserts Smile Jul 20, 2012

I used to eat Snowflakes' Taiwanese Desserts only in KL. This is my first visit to Meet Fresh Penang and I'm glad that it did not disappoint me. My friends and I were excited to try their desserts. Taro Ball is always my favorite. I ordered the Meet Fresh Signature Herb Jelly. It is topped with the yam ice-cream and Taro Balls. It tasted just nice with the milk.

I'm surprised with the taste. It is not too sweet and it matches well with the Taro Balls. The taro balls were chewy. I like the desserts there because they are all freshly made. The environment is also good. It is surely suitable for gathering and yum cha session. Many people hang around here after their dinner. I would recommend you all to try this dish as it is their signature dish as well! smile

Supper OK Jun 10, 2012

I went to this shop with few friends at night for supper around 9pm. When we go, there was not any other customers. But we saw few customers dropped by to take away some desserts. Their service is not bad. We ordered few desserts.

This is mine, red bean soup with glutinous balls~ It tasted not bad. Well, I love to eat glutinous balls. I could say that they are not hard and acceptable. The range of the food price is around RM3/4 and above. It is moderate. They serve many many types of desserts.

This is a good place for friends' gathering as they have tables that are large enough to accommodate the amount of people. But not many seats, if you want to go in big big group, maybe can make a booking first smile Environment is clean and calm.

James Foo Western Food is famous for their western food at reasonable price and lots of choices. They serve fish, pork, chicken and even lamb! (I am not sure if they have beef) with different kinds of cooking methods. During at night, if you are late, sometimes you even need to wait at outside to get a seat.

I have ordered this big size orange juice (around RM5/6) And this Chicken Maryland. It comes with pineapple, ham and cheese. The portion of the food is big. (around RM11+) It is certainly worthwhile for that price! This is nice too!

Overall comment: They are good as they serve many many types of western food at good price. But you need to wait for a long time when they are many people. I have even waited for an hour to get my food served. It is a bit crowded when there are many people.

Hakka Mee OK Aug 01, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Yong Tau Fu

This shop is very famous in Bayan Lepas area. We always say this is Hakka Mee shop. Many people who work at Bayan Lepas area will always come here. They serve range of Yong Tau Hu items with noodles or rice here. You can order the items you want at the counter and they will serve it to you. Normally one person will take around 5 - 6 Yong Tau Hu items with a bowl of noodles. You can choose to have it dried one or the wet one. I prefer to order the dried one. It serves with bean sprout and soya sauce. I always come here with my friend and one person usually costs around RM7.50. Their food are freshly made everyday. During lunch time the shop is always full.

The noodles are chewy and not too dried. The egg is fried and the egg yolk was taken out and replaced with the fish meat. They also serve other side dishes such as chicken feet and paper wrap chicken.

The shop is suitable for normal or family dining. It is more like chinese coffee shop.
