I've tried their Hartamas branch before and the food was quite good. I got to know that this Grand Imperial in Bangsar Shopping Centre might be even better, as this is where their base is.
Sunday is always crowded in dimsum place. However the floor size of the restaurant is quite big, so at 12pm, where the coalesced sights and sounds of the eating crowd suggested that the restaurant is packed, we can still get a seat easily.
Being very HK-cantonese taste bud one of the food i couldn't resist in any dimsum/breakfast is porridge. We ordered 2: one with lean-meat & century egg and another one giblet porride.
The porridge was good. I think the main ingredient of their porridge base is pork ribs. However both porridge, despite very porky, taste different. The one with lean meat and century egg has a richer taste while the one with pork offal tastes light & fresh with a dash of ginger. Well that is purely for the taste and flavour of porridge, we all don't eat the offal.
we also ordered other traditional dim sum such as Steamed Chicken Feet, Beancurd roll with Prawn, fried carrot cake and a baked egg tart as dessert, which are not in the pictures.
Overall am very satisfied with the quality of food. All yummy. Service is ok, meeting minimum standard. You won't be neglected neither they will serve you with full attention. It was a very busy Sunday noon after all
Total 5 pax, we spent slightly less than RM150 inclusive of tax and charges. With the quality of food i reckon it very reasonable
