A satisfying lunch Smile Jul 11, 2012

The restaurant was quite big and there were already many patrons when we reached there as it's lunch time. One good thing is that there are many tables in the restaurant so we did not need to queue long. It was noisy but I kind of like the way the workers welcomed us warmly. For those who do not like squeezing, I don't recommend you this restaurant as it was a bit crowded.tongue

We waited for quite long until we were served with the menu. After much consideration, we(three of us) ordered some recommendation of the shop-Tomato Fried Egg with Fish set meal, Three varieties Supreme Diced Chicken set meal and the Pork Leg set meal( not sure of the name). bowlchopstick Looking at the dishes served, ohhhhhhh...they are appetizing! And they really came out to be super delicious.lol

At the same time we also ended up super stuffed.mad

Yet super satisfied.smile

It's the last day of the promotion where the price for a plate of Fish & Chips is only RM6.99!

We queued for quite a long time as there were four of us and it needed time for the workers to adjust seats for us. But it's all worth it as the taste of Fish & Chips does not turn bad due to the overwhelming customers throughout the week. The workers are still friendly after a whole day of work as they came to serve us very diligently. Don't forget, the drinks in the shop can be refilledtongue

The fish are soft and there are three big pieces of fish on our plates! It's totally worth waiting for so long. We required for tartare sauce and the sauce turned out to be so delicious and it made my dinner fulfilling. It's a regret that that was the last day of the promotion. If not, I would like to have my every dinner within the week at the Manhattan Fish Market!

My First Trial in Ochado Smile Apr 08, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

It was 6.30pm by the time I reached the stall and there was no customer around. The cashier greeted me with Japanese words, accompanied by a bright smile. Guess she is a Malaysian, but Ochado required her to speak Japanese to the customers.smile I said so because she can understand my order which is in Mandarintongue

The choices were not as varied compared to the other bubble tea stalls in Malaysia, but it seems the quality of the bubble tea is the best in the bubble tea I have tried before. It tasted so nice that I went for another cup on the next day. Moreover, the customers can choose the level of sugar whether they want 100% sugar, 75% (recommended), 50% or 25% sugar. On the first day, I tried a 75% as it is written there'recommended'. The drinks turned out to be sweet but nice. So, I tried a 50% on the second day but it turned out to be not as delicious as the first trial. Hence I guess a 100% would be the nicest among all, perhaps.tongue

I ordered the original Ochado Roasted Pearl Milk Tea. There's a promotion from 19 March-15 April 2012,12pm-6pm, where we can choose the flavour of the day which costs only RM4.90 each cup, which is RM1 cheaper than the normal price. As the promotion ends at 6pm and I reached there at 6.30pm, I missed the opportunitysad

After ordering, I waited for around a minute and the drink is ready. The service is super fast and the workers are very friendly. Lastly, something special about Ochado is that the black pearl is unexpectedly tremendous. For every suck of the bubble tea, I can get at least 5 pearls pulled into in my mouth. Yes, this is TRUE!lol Try it and you know the feeling!

All the dishes' name below are of self-translation as I have lost the receipt. sad

Situated in the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, Zhia's Kitchen Restaurant serves scrumptious Chinese food.

I am a student who stays in the hostel, and is seperated with my parents. In my college, I can hardly see original Chinese food, moreover pork, which is my favourite food. That afternoon, I walked pass Zhia's Kitchen Restaurant and saw the menu outside the restaurant. I saw Roasted Pork Rice and a picture of it. It looked so attractive that I could not control myself from pulling my sister towards the restaurant. Once I opened the menu, the picture of all the dishes made me salivate! I felt like wanted to order all of the dishes!.mad Roast Duck Fried Rice, Sour Spicy Fish Fillet with rice, Golden Spicy Beef with rice, and many more, which I don't know what are they called in English.

After having hard fight in myself, I decided to stick to what I first saw in the menu stand outside the restaurant. And my sister ordered the Sour Spicy Sour Fish Fillet with rice. As for drinks, we shared a cup of Yuen Yang. While waiting for the food to be served, I observed the environment and discovered that it was great. Newspapers are prepared for customers while waiting for food, and the restaurant is divided into two parts, one is the smoking area and the other is the non-smoking area. This is very health-concerned.smile The tables are nicely set and I think the restaurant is suitable for dating and even family gathering. Everything was perfect for mesmile

After a while, the food are served and they turned out to be exactly like the picture in the menu. And they tasted extremely good. They made me miss my mother's cookingsad Too bad I didn't have a cow's stomach. Besides, I also enjoyed the drink though the drink was not so much great compared to the dishes. The price is also OK, which I think it is affordable for most people.

I strongly recommend the Roasted Pork Rice. I was satisfied and I swore I would go back for another try on the other dishes again! lol

Share Tea Smile Feb 08, 2012

These few years, many bubble tea shops are opened in Malaysia. Of them are Chatime, Each A Cup, Gong Cha, Cup Bon and many others. A friend of mine introduced a new brand to me, which is Share Tea in Times Square. The ambassador is a famous Hong Kong star, Eric Tsang. That day, my friend brought me there. When I reached the shop, a big laughing face of Eric Tsang's advertising card appeared in front of me. The logo of the shop appeared to me as a very attracting one.

It was 4.30pm and there was not many customers around there. My friend recommended me the Vanilla Pearl Milk Tea. As she favoured the flavour very much, we ordered a large cup and added pearl, without having to undergo much consideration. The extra pearl costed us RM1. The cashier was friendly and served us with a big smile similar to Eric Tsang. lol He explained to us that if we have student cards, we would be given 10% discount and we showed him ours.

After ordering, as we had nothing to do, and the stool prepared in the shop looked comfortable, we sitted while waiting for our drinks. The menu of the drinks can be found anywhere around the shop. There are a lot of choices of flavours and toppings which can be added. Anyway, as usual, every adding of toppings will be charged.smile Many people were manning the shop, one in charge of the counter and ordering and many were inside, preparing the drinks. I think the workers would be really useful during the peak hours.tongue

Our drinks were prepared in just a few minutes. It was really delicious and cooling. I am sure I will patronize the shop again not long in the future.
