Dried Meat Bun OK Jul 27, 2012   (Related Review)

Besides the chicken floss bun, you can opt for dried meat bun which is bigger in portion and have more ingredient in it, but of course it cost more too.

The long bun have butter spread and is placed on the hot pan to get the crispy in it while the ingredient include chicken floss, dried meat, cucumber and ketchup / chilli. There's a well balance of sweet and salty in it and it taste as good as you could smell, but there is no strong present of aroma in this because it wasn't pan fried with whipped egg.

Chicken Floss Bun OK Jul 27, 2012

The stall selling this in SS2 Pasar Malam can be located just nearby the entrance to SS2 Selera Makan. You'll see this Chinese auntie preparing and pan frying lots of bun as illustrated above

The bun is stuffed with chunk of chicken floss (used to be generous amount) on the middle and is then dipped into whipped and flavoured egg and then pan fried with butter for that extra aroma. It carry salty taste on the bread and once you reach the chicken floss you will find some sweetness as well. It is good to consume when hot as it will lost its softness when cold.

Fried Indian Noodle Smile Jul 27, 2012

The stall is owned and run by Chinese, but I have to admit that I kinda love their friend indian noodle. There weren't much ingredient but every single ingredient comes in generous amount. The yellow noodle is stir fried with brown tofu, potato, egg, bean spout, and some special sauce that carry mild sweetness in it, and is finish with slices of lettuce and limau. It use to have sprinkle of peanut but not anymore. The taste of the dish is quite consistent and very well cook. It doesn't exactly ressemble the india mee goreng but it taste as good as one. The noodle is covered by rich flavour from the sauce and is not spicy at all.

Cheese Baked Rice OK Jul 26, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

The Cheese Baked Rice is Hong kong style food. The grilled chicken chop is placed ontop of the fragrant rice in a basket base and generous portion of cheese is sprinkle on top and is then send to the oven to bake until the cheese melt, creating a layer of aromatic cheese covering everything underneath it. The cheese baked rice looks very appetising, the smell of cheese make me feel like taste it immediately (i need to take some photo before start my meal). Taste wise is good and come with a good balance mixture of all ingredient in it. Trust me, one of these

There's a set menu for the baked cheese series and every set come with a main course, dessert, soup, and drink. I love the milk tea here because it is different from those I usually get from mamak stall and it taste just as good as the luxury tea. It is not too sweet and is served in a big glass. The tea is also rich and thick in texture.

Stir Fried Pork OK Jul 26, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles | Group/Family dining

This is a dish where I like the taste of it but not the meat on it. These stir fried pork with onions, long bean, and special house sweet black soy sauce had managed to bring out not just the scent of the dish but also the appetizing flavour on it. The pork however contain quite high percentage of fat which is not my liking but I just couldn't resist munching all the crispy long bean and removing the fat from the meat.
