The Stir-fried Kailan in Two Varieties is not the typical stir fried kai lan that you would get from elsewhere. This is a combination of stir fried and deep fried and is also one of the signature dish here at Pantai Seafood. The leaves are deep fried and thus creating a very crunchy taste where as the others was just stir fried with chef sauce and serves with dried prawn and fried garlic to give not just some colour to it but also added taste. The crispy leave is really good and it might the feel of chewing it is quite similar to seaweed.

Claypot Tofu Smile Jul 15, 2012

The claypot tofu is pretty simple here but offer an amazing taste which is different from its look. The homemade tofu is silty, smooth, and soft and melts in your mouth is being stir fried with several types of vegetable and button mushroom where chef's special sauce is added for a stronger aromatic scent. Sad part is that there were more vegetable than the main dish tofu. Thus you might need to plan your dish well when ordering here.

Like every bar, western food is part of the menu and pasta is one of my favourite item to order. To me the only way to distinguish itself from other restaurant / bar have to be the taste and price of it. The linguini carbonara here tasted superb while the bacon was simply awesome. Most importantly the carbonara doesn't taste like it is from canned sauce. The pasta is well cooked and the dish is rich and doesn't feel greasy.

Pork Sausage Smile Jul 15, 2012

Jarrod & Rawlins practise simple concept in its restaurant where it combine both pleasure of enjoying great food and atmosphere that is fun and intimate. The pork sausage is good here where you can even taste the light charcoal infused into the pork meat. The sausage is very filling and frim, not forgetting it is heavily flavoured. It is serves with scoops of already tasty mashed potato with very smooth texture that melts in your mouth. There are various type of sausage to choose from but I'm happy to go with the waiter recommendation.

Variety of Pan Mee Smile Jul 15, 2012

Fancy Mee Corner offer not just soothing ambiance to diners but also a huge variety of rarely seen menu with an affordable price. There are spring onion pan mee (left) and mum's pan mee (right) that I manage to try. The spring onion pan mee (can be soup / dry) is covered with lots of lettuce on top while below it there's slices of tender pork while the mum's pan mee is the classic clear soup pan mee. They both taste equally delicious and most importantly, the texture of the noodle is smooth and thin but firm.
