Fried Indian Noodle Smile Jul 27, 2012

The stall is owned and run by Chinese, but I have to admit that I kinda love their friend indian noodle. There weren't much ingredient but every single ingredient comes in generous amount. The yellow noodle is stir fried with brown tofu, potato, egg, bean spout, and some special sauce that carry mild sweetness in it, and is finish with slices of lettuce and limau. It use to have sprinkle of peanut but not anymore. The taste of the dish is quite consistent and very well cook. It doesn't exactly ressemble the india mee goreng but it taste as good as one. The noodle is covered by rich flavour from the sauce and is not spicy at all.

When I was young I always love to mix my cantonese fried with hokkien noodle but since that no one is selling that dish outside I that I was weird

The Ying Yang Hokkien Noodle (雪花福面) is exactly what I've been loving all this while. It consist of fried hokkien noodle that is covered with cantonese fried like gravy where it is rich with egg and very aromatic. It is good but I still prefer my hokkien noodle to be replace with meehon. If you have the chance, do try this out.

Grilled Fish Smile Jul 16, 2012   (Related Review)

Whenever I visit a chinese restaurant, my friend or family usually would order steamed fish but this time round, since there is a recommendation, we opt for the grilled fish. I can't remember the name of the fish but this had to be an awesome grilled fish. It is grilled until slightly burnt on the skin thus creating a crispy layer where the meat inside is fresh and smooth. There were also various type of sauce (mostly spicy) provided to go along with but I'm just happy to have mine the original taste.

Chicken Meatball Smile Jul 16, 2012

Pu Yuan Restaurant is quite hidden from the naked eye and if it wasn't for a friend who brought us here, I never know such dish exist. The chicken meatball is one of the few signature dish at Pu Yuan and it does satisfied my crave from its claim. The minced chicken meat is rolled into round shape being deep fried until golden brown where it is then coated with lost of oatmeal. Really crispy on the outside and flavourful on the inside. Highly recommended.

The Teriyaki Chicken Pasta was good and delicious in its unique way. It is a bowl of well and timely cook spaghetti, along with teriyaki chicken and top with a half cook egg where you can mix and stir everything around to bring out the aromatic egg scent, and a flavourful taste. It is lovely yet memorable taste that would leave in your heart.
