I had always pass by this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Finally had the chance when my parents came to visit me.

We ordered 3 dishes only. First up, Papa's Grilled Chicken. Although grilled, the chicken was served with a little bit of sauce to add to the flavours. The chicken was cooked just nice & the sauce coupled with the 'burnt' taste made this dish super tasty. We also had this Mua You Egg which is scrambled eggs with thin fried ginger slices on top. The eggs were a little but 'wet' which complements well when eating with rice as it does not feel too dry. The final dish was Hot Plate Tofu, with japanese tofu (of course!), egg & minced pork. I feel that they could have been more generous with the minced pork but overall, it tasted good.

Yee Mee Smile Aug 18, 2013

Tried the Mun Yee Mee here. I think this is the way KL people call it (I might be wrong). In Penang, I think it is char sang mee (again, I could most likely be wrong sad ). Anyway, it has a lot of gravy & toppings such as pork slices, fish cake slices, vege & prawns. It was really worth it because most stalls elsewhere just have a little bit of everything. It did not taste too salty & eating it together with the gravy is the best way to enjoy it.

Pan Mee Smile Aug 18, 2013

A new shop at the newly opened One World in Bayan Baru. There are many types of pan mee to choose from but for this round, I took the minced pork pan mee. It has a very generous amount of the minced pork which is always a nice thing. It didn't taste as good as I hoped it would be but it is still considered nice.

There are 5 chili typed to choose from to add to the flavour & I liked that they are all kept separate in individual containers. This way, customers can choose the type of chili & the amount they want to add to the noodles. For me, I just put a little bit of the dried chili powder to add some flavouring..

Pizza!!! Smile Aug 18, 2013

Mushroom soup with garlic bread

Big bowl, very little soup. Should have given slightly more. It was nothing to shout about for me but my gf didn't like it, says not much mushroom taste.

Bismarck Pizza

It is topped with choices of either pepperoni, bacon or chicken. We chose the chicken topping. The special part of this pizza is that is as an egg right in the middle of the pizza so as you take a slice, there are egg whites & yolk at the tip of it. I liked the taste of it & the egg did not feel out of place, in fact it made the experience even better!

Funghi Pizza

Pizza with only mushrooms as the topping. I personally didn't enjoy it as I do not really fancy mushrooms. However my 3 other friends says it was great. The chef was very generous with the mushrooms which I think is the reason I didn't enjoy it but also the reason why my other friends love it.

Belacan Fried Rice OK Aug 18, 2013

Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court

Discovered this new food court at Paya Terubong thanks to my gf. A lot of stalls here ranging from appetizers to desserts. Walked for a few rounds but still undecided what to order but finally settled for Belacan Fried Rice. Took quite long for it to arrive, maybe a lot of orders. The taste was quite different from what I usually have. It was mainly spicy with not much of the salty belacan taste. My gf says it was nice so it's probably due to the spicy taste that made me not enjoy it.
