Cocoa Milk Tea with Pudding Smile Sep 26, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Café | Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

One of the Ochado branch is located in Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. Ochado is derived from two Japanese words – OCHA and CHADO. OCHA means ‘tea’, while CHADO is used to describe the 'Way of Tea’ or also known as 'Japanese tea ceremony'. Ochado is just another famous bubble tea drink chain beside Chatime. One of their signature drink is Pop Egg Milk Tea. Each bite of pop egg will bring a burst of caramel coffee flavor where this is a new fun way of drinking milk tea, unlike the usual one that put black pearl in it. But, this time We didn't order this, I have ordered Grapefruit Green Tea and Cocoa Milk Tea with Pudding. Grapefruit Green Tea sounds new to me, but I am still ok with the taste. The Cocoa Milk Tea with Pudding is a good combination, love it very much. As for the price, I think it is reasonable.

One of the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts branch is located at Lower Ground Floor OF Setia City Mall. It has three outlets in Klang Valley of Malaysia and their first store is in Berjaya Times Square. With more and more outlets opening in town, now everyone can have a taste of the popular American doughnut joint. With the tagline "We Make Fresh Doughnuts Daily",it has a variety of doughnuts, fresh coffee and collectibles. It has a few tables there for dine in, with power outlet and wifi connection for anyone who want to use their laptop. I have ordered Peanut Chocolate Doughnut, which is an empty doughnut that coated with peanut butter and topped with chocolate. The doughnuts is very fresh and soft and I thin this is the best doughnut I have so far. Overall, I am very satisfy with the doughnuts.

One of the Lammeeya branch is located at Damansara Uptown. As per their restaurant name, it is specialise in Lam Mee, basically is thick yellow noodle cooked is thick gravy made from the stock of prawns and chicken. The restaurant has a nice environment setting where they use white as their main colour. Once you entered the restaurant, you can see their wallpaper are painter with the menu. One of the wall is showing a photo of original lam mee and enlighten patrons that this is what you get if you order it. I have ordered Original Lam Mee with thin mee. I think their food is really presentable and is really tempting you once they serve the food. The ingredients include prawn, chicken slice and pork ball where all of them are nice. The mee is very stringy and fresh. Overall, I think the food is nice and worth the money.

Roti 3 Rasa Smile Sep 24, 2013

Categories : Malaysian variety | Restaurant

One of the Original Kayu Nasi Kandar branch is located at Aman Suria Damansara. It started out with a stall at a coffee shop in SS2 Chow Yang here back in 1974 and grew to become one of the most popular “Mamak” restaurants in Klang Valley and Penang. Today, from the little stall around the corner, many such eateries have envolved into much bigger establishments with some owning chains of restaurants that carry same name. Nasi Kandar had its humble origins in Penang Island, Nasi’ means rice in Malay while ‘Kandar’ refers to a formidable stick that is slung across one’s shoulder to carry heavy objects securely hung on both ends of the stick. Their signature dish of course is Nasi Kandar, Roti Tissue, Lassi drink and Cheese Naan. Today morning, I have decided to stop by here for breakfast. I have ordered Roti 3 Rasa ( Egg, Planta & Kaya) and Teh Tarik. The roti is so tasty, especially when dip inside the dal and I think this is the only "Mamak" that offers this type of roti. The teh tarik is smooth which give you the kick to start the morning. Overall, the food is expensive compare with other normal mamak shop. But with their quality of food and nice environment, I think is worth the money.

Obviously from the name, this restaurant is famous for it's Chili Pan Mee, seriously spicy!!! Beside this, the restaurant also serves Fish Head Noddle, Home Made Curry Pan Mee, Pan Mee Soup, Fried Fish Fillet, Deep Fried Tofu with Home Made Thai Sauce, Wantan Soup, Chinese Prawn Dumpling Soup and etc. Currently it has 6 branches which located at Batu Road, Kota Damansara, Kepong, SS2, USJ9 and Cheras. The environment is comfortable with air conditioned. Normally the restaurant will be crowded during lunch time, especially after 1pm. I have ordered Pan Mee Soup. The Pan Mee Soup has egg, veggies, mince pork and fried anchovies. The noodle is bouncy with QQ texture. As for side dish, I have ordered Meat Ball Fu Zhu Soup. Overall, I think the like pan mee very much, very delicious and the price is reasonable. They serve the food quite fast although the restaurant is packed with people
