Lets Teppanyaki OK Sep 07, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood

Mr Teppanyaki is located at Lower Ground of Sunway Pyramid, near by the ice skating ring. They are using red colour as their environment design concept, Their signature dish of course is all the teppanyaki dishes. but this time, I have ordered Tempura Bento Set. This comes with tempura shrimp, salad, appetizer, rice, a slice of watermelon and miso soup. The tempura shrimp is thinly coated with flour then deep fried till golden brown. It has crispy texture and and tender meat inside. The thousand island on top of the finely shredded cabbage taste cold and refreshing. Miso soup is delicious, at least it is not too salty. One thing to complaint is the staff here, they are not well-trained. I can feel they are not friendly at all and they serve the food quite slow although the restaurant is not crowded with people. Overall, I think the bento set is worth the money.

Overtime for Lunch OK Sep 04, 2013
Categories : Western variety | Bar & Pub | Private Party

As you know, Overtime is a place to have beer at night, but recently they have started to offer set lunch which include a soft drink and refillable ice cream. I think there are around 10 sets to choose from if i am not mistaken. The environment here is very cosy and they used the beer barrel as the table. I have ordered Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce. The quality sure cannot fight with the one from steak house, but i think still acceptable. Remember to ask the waiter to server the ice cream first while waiting for your main meal. By doing this, you can reduce your waiting time. From what i noticed, this set lunch still not attract many people, may be they are plenty of other choice in Sunway Pyramid. Personally, i think this set lunch is worth the price.

Let's have some Kung Fu lunch OK Sep 04, 2013

Kungfu Paradise is a orang concept restaurant. I think the first branch is in Paradigm Mall and the second branch is in Mid Valley Megamall. I have been there for lunch during weekdays where they serve Power Lunch Rice Set. Each set comes with soup of the day, appetiser (choice of deep fried wantan (2 pc) of fried sotong ball (2 pc) ) and drink (choice of iced lemongrass juice or COKE or SPRITE). There are a total 6 sets to choose from and I have chose Crispy Chicken Cutlet Cury Rice with Egg set. Not much to comment on the food as i think the food is moderate. The curry sauce is not so spicy and the portion is enough for one person. Their service also is moderate. My soup took some time to serve after i complaint for the first time. Overall, I think the set lunch is really worth the money.

This is a newly opened Thai Restaurant in Kampung Sungai Buloh. You can park your car along the shop lot, or at the morning market area just opposite the road. It is an air-contioned restaurant. The ceiling design is very unique, covered with colourful Chinese paper umbrella. They also play Thai song to make you feel like in Thailand. Their television is also showing thai channel. The thai style steam siakap fish (RM35) that i ordered is very nice. The sour and spicy taste will make you feel SYOCK. They put quite a lot of small chili, onion, lemon grass, lemon leaf in the fish. I have ordered fried squid(RM15) and stri fried kai lan with salted fish(RM12) as well, both dishes are nice. Rice is charged at RM1 per person, you can refill as much as you can. After the thai meal, you can cool down yourself with a glass of pandan water. The service here is moderate, as it took some time for them to serve our fish.

Thai Thai Food  OK Sep 04, 2013

The environment in this restaurant is cosy and the decoration on the wall is special and nice. They put a very big lemon grass decoration at the entrance. Once you reach the restaurant, you can smell the authentic taste of tom yum. The tom yum seafood i ordered is very nice, but spicy, so do prepare yourself with a cold drink. The seafood (prawn, squid, fish) is very fresh and the soup is really tempting. But i think the portion is a bit small for 2 person and also expensive compare with other Thai restaurant. The waiters here are very friendly. Overall, I like the environment, but for me is not worth the money.
