If you're searching for a place that serves authentic Thai food, Thai Thai will be the destination that you have been looking for. Thai Thai has always been my favourite place to dine in, because the food there are really good and the ambience is really comfortable and romantic (romantic due to the dim lights). Perfect for families or couples! If you’re dining with your other halfit will be preferable to order the individual meal rather than ordering a few dishes because it can be quite pricey. But good food pays for a high price. I ordered the Tom Yum seafood mee hoon soup because according to the menu, it was rated as chef recommendation and the spiciness level was really high. I decided to take up the challenge because I think I have high tolerance in eating spicy food. My other half ordered their signature pineapple fried rice. It looks good on the menu and so he ordered that to give it a try.The food came quite fast as we went there before lunch time and there weren’t much people. Normally the place will be packed with people especially during dinner times!! So if you’re planning to have dinner there, make sure you go there early or book reservations. My tom yum seafood mee hoon soup looks really appetising!! There were fish, cuttlefish, prawns, and mushrooms in the midst of the noodles. The noodles were soaked in tom yum soup and so the tom yum flavour had already immersed into the fine noodles. The flavours were bursting in my mouth and it was really really spicy. But I love it so much as it was a delight finishing the bowl of noodles. I was enjoying every second of it.As for the pineapple rice, the rice was really flavourful and simply scrumptious. I think it was the best pineapple rice I’ve ever tasted so far!!Who says you can't eat good Thai food without going to Thailand? continue reading

I was so full from lunch that I needed to eat something sour to digest my food. So here I am trying the Thai food in this place for the first time. The good thing is that the prices are half the price at Barn Thai in Jaya 33. My friend ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawn (18.87) which was quite cute as it came served in a small pineapple. The rice is quite ok and had the flavours inside. The Glass Noodles with Seafood (RM 23.11) was just average. The glass noodles would have tasted better if it absorbed all the lime and sauce inside. There were a lot of seafood like octopus, prawns and vegetables which were fresh. The Tomyam Seafood (RM 17.92) was even better than the one I tasted in Bangkok as it is reddish, spicy and sour just the way I like it. There were big prawns, fish, octopus inside too despite being a small bowl. The Earl Grey Tea Pot (RM 8.96) came served in a tiny cute pot. The tea used is from Jones brand. The entire meal came up to RM 80.30, not what you would spend for an average middle income dinner. Service wise, my friend complained the waiters were slow but for me it was ok since they were quite busy.  continue reading

continue reading

One of the strongly recommended dishes by their restaurant chef, pineapple fried rice. This fried rice is fried in thai style, which i think nothing different compare to type of fried rice just that it was fried in spicy - with chilli. The fried rice was served on a pineapple where the inner part of the fruit of the pineapple was taken out. Actually it does not look nice when the fried rice serve in a pineapple as we wont know how many times they were reusing it.If i were to rate this i would give 8/10 continue reading
