Akamaru Shinaji

Akamaru Shinaji

Here comes the Akamaru Shinaji(red bowl) with full add-ons set. If I'm not wrong I think this cost a whooping RM36 for a bowl. I didn't know there was different kind of hardness for ramen until the waitress ask us if we wanted it to be soft, normal, or hard. We went with normal, because we weren't ramen-experts. But you can ask the waitress to recommend which one you should try.

The egg was something! Don't know how they did it but it was hard boiled outside and all watery inside. Yummy! The food was really good but it tasted way too salty when we were almost finishing the food. We also ordered the Shiromaru Motoaji(white bowl), but I prefer the red bowled one. It has more flavor to it.

Despite the price, this is definitely recommended to all food-lovers out there.

Dry Pan Mee

Dry Pan Mee

There were very generous with the side ingredients. In my honest opinion, it was just okay but not half bad. The environment was kind of small and not very clean. It is very secluded as well, it might be a bit difficult to search for the restaurant if it wasn't for the signboard they hanged near the main road. But never the less, pan mee lovers can give this a try if you are around the area. smile

Cabonara with Chicken Ham is the name. This is LOVE!

Apple crumble for our dessert.
Omg, this just made me fall in love with the restaurant more.

Overall, the dinner experience was satisfying. It was better than I had expected.

Caramel Pavlova, RM7.50

Caramel Pavlova, RM7.50

Tried my first pavlova at Serai, and immediately fell in love with it. So, I was wanting to try others and I'm not disappointed at this selection at all. This was really good! Although the crispy part of it was very sweet but the cream wasn't, so they complement each other very well. There is also Fruit Pavlova.

Very strong mango taste and very sweet too. This was okay for me.

I didn't checked the name and the price. But this isn't the thing for me. It's too sweet as well.

The Full English (RM21.90)

The Full English (RM21.90)

I ordered The Full English (RM21.90), and it WAS very fulling indeed. The sausages are really special! And the mushroom, they are delicious as well. This actually feels like a breakfast plate to me but instead it was my dinner. Haha. We tried the Porky Chops(RM20.90) too, and it was yummy as well! But we think that it lacks of sauce, not enough aroma but still passable. The price is quite cheap and reasonable. They actually have a website too, they have their menu and pictures as well! Very good reference for those who are planning to go there and have a try! http://www.hog.my/p/menu.html
Highly recommended!
