This is one of my favourite eateries.  Food is always consistent in quality and taste. Portion is also good for their prices.  Restaurant decor is simple, and the place is clean (even the toilet!). My only complaint, the place is slightly dark. Lighting need a little more work.  Or maybe it is just my vision issue.  continue reading

A no frills simple deco restaurant focusing on porky goodness. Service is average while the menu was pretty good serving up bites, pasta, burgers, rice dishes, salad & desserts. We started off with some Keropork which were cracklings. Came freshly fried & still popping. Crunchy & goes well with a good beer. For mains we had The Full English, Pork Goulash, Bangers & Mash and Huevos Rancheros. All pretty good especially the sausages which were flavourful & had a good bite to it. The Goulash however was slightly oily & could do with more spice. For dessert we tried their Peanut Butter Pie which was heavenly.Worth a return to try some other items on the menu especially the ribs & bacon gelato. Do note that they only accept cash which was rather disappointing. continue reading

3 Little Pigs (RM15.90). Main signature pork burger topped with streaky bacon, ham, caramelized onions and melted cheese. Two thumbs up for this. The minced pork is so juicy. Even though they use only normal bun for the burger, but together with all of the ingredients in combination make this pork burger an awesome one and heavenly taste. Surprisingly the presence of bacon doesn't make the pork burger tastes too salty. I'm in love and I can't resist it. I will definitely visit again for this. Not to forget to mention, this burger is served with fries and vegetables too. The fries is just like any other ordinary fries, nothing so special. I purposely cut it into half and snapped a picture of it. U can see very clearly from this photo what's in each layer from the top to bottom. The melted cheese, the pork, the bacon, the ham, tomato and vege. Awesomeness! continue reading

for dessert, do try the bacon bits ice creamit is vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey and infused with really tiny bacon bitsdon't be worried, it is not a salty ice creamthe bacon bits mainly act as almonds and peanuts garnish on top of the ice creamthe honey takes the savory taste away but at the first scoop at the top you may find it over sweetthe only problem i have with this place is that my hair and shirt will smell afterwards continue reading

Hungry Hog was one of the famous burger outlets in SS15, having established earlier as compared to the others and providing a great deal of porky meals. me and my friends visited them one night for dinner after our class ended and were surprised to see it full-house, with both students and families. i ordered Three Little Pigs, having heard of it as its bestseller. the burger, served with a thick chunk of pork patty, bacon pieces, slice of ham, cheese, lettuce and caramelized onions. the meal came together with their complimentary mashed potatoes, mashed up quite well and thick with their savory gravy too. the bun was extremely thick and big, but quite fluffy to be eaten, while the bacons remain crispy and salty although i do have to admit i having a hard time eating this because their long and huge bacons were portruding out of the burger haha. their pork patty was juicy and tender, and packs quite a punch for pork lovers. continue reading
